DC – UPS Systems for Safety Relevant Installations
With their modular construction, the latest DC – UPS systems in the GTLB/GTPB series from Zentro Elektrik expand the existing comprehensive range of DC – UPS systems for supplying power to safety relevant installations.
The AC/DC systems in standby parallel mode are designed for outputs
from 250 Watt up to 600 Watt and fitted with batteries at the customer’s request. Additional DC/DC converters can be added to the system if more output voltages are required.
A battery control and monitoring module allows to control the charging current and temperature control of the charge closing voltage.
Over and above this, numerous monitoring and control signals are provided via relays, LED’s or potentiometers. A signal relay, for example,
if the charging voltage fails, to switch off the battery on it reaching the closing discharge voltage, to give advance warning of reaching closing discharge voltage with an additional adjustable threshold or individual limitation of the battery charging current to prolong battery life, and
many more. LED displays and adjustable potentiometers provide for comprehensive signalling and the ability to adjust the maximum charging voltage or the defined point of battery switch-off. |

# The VSP Power Supply series utilizes modern switch mode technology to produce high-power, low-noise switching supplies that cost around twenty five percent less than linear supplies with the same power. The VSP series offers as much as 1.2 kilowatts in a 19 inch rack mountable chassis that measures just 1U (1.75 inches) in height. The DC energy systems from FAC P series of SALICRU are rectifiers specially designed to supply direct current to the most varied equipment
of medium and high power. Manufactured in power rates of 1000, 2000, 2700 and 5000 W, allow being connected in parallel and built in
19” cabinets, where each cabinet can also include a monitoring and management unit (MS-102), batteries and DC outgoing distribution,
as well as load priority systems. Besides, each rectifier module can be hot swapped for its connection and removing, with all the advantages
that it means in the system operating.
On the other hand, thanks to the high quantity of rectifier modules that can be connected to one system only, allow having power rates
higher than 170 kW.
The monitoring and management unit (MS-102) controls the complete system, also it stores and manages the input, output and battery
data; and allows setting all the parameters on it. The rectifier modules communicates with it through the RS-485 port, and permanently it
is controlling the output voltage, current sharing among the modules, battery charging current, critical and non-critical load contactors,
