The hand pump with fine adjustment is a pneumatic compression device for a pressure output from 0 to 16 bar and is operable by hand.
The hand pump is especially suitable to check or to calibrate pressure measuring instruments, as for example load cells, pressure sensors and gauges. The pump is portable because of its compact construction and is to serve handily and easily. A fine automatic controller at the pump enables a fine regulation of the pressure output. The pressure pump was developed for a fast and simple pressure calibration.
The hand pump consists of a cylinder, a piston, a pressure release valve, a fine adjustment and the handles. Over the two available internal threads the pump can be attached to the test normal and the test sample, in order to check or calibrate. The handles have to be pressed and released by hand a few times. As result an initial pressure within an area from 0 to 16 bar or -780 to 0 mbar is produced.
Connect test normal and the instrument which is supposed to be calibrated with the pump by using the flexible hose and the supplied connections. During inflating you close the opening valve in clockwise direction. For pressure relief you turn the opening valve against clockwise direction. Before the calibration of the pressure measuring device each connection should be checked for tightness. After the calibration make sure that the pressure is relieved before unscrewing the instrument (otherwise danger of injury exists).

The Vaisala CARBOCAP® Hand-held Carbon Dioxide Meter GM70 is available with a sampling pump. The GM70 with the pump-aspiration option is ideal for validating the calibration of incubators and environmental chambers.
To prevent condensation from occurring when drawing a gas sample from an environment with high humidity and temperatures into ambient air, an option called Nafionä tubing is available. The tubing prevents condensation in the gas sample by selectively removing the water vapor without affecting the level of CO2.
The GM70 incorporates the Vaisala CARBOCAP® Sensor, which is a silicon-based NDIR sensor that provides excellent reliability and long-term stability. Features include ten measurement ranges between 0…20% CO2 and a two year recommended calibration interval.
The GM70 has a multilingual user interface and a graphical LCD display. Data can be logged up to 30 days. The optional Windows® software provides an easy-to-use interface to a PC. Probes for measuring relative humidity, temperature and dewpoint temperature can also be connected to the GM70. A carrying case incorporates all the equipment and keeps the setup ready for immediate measurement.
