Badotherm seals are available in stainless steel AISI316 as standard. They can also be manufactured in all known exotic materials. Naturally, our seals can be supplied with 3.1.B and other material identification certificates. The smallest diaphragm diameter offered is 23 mm / 1” and the biggest diaphragm is 89 mm / 3½”. At these dimensions the lowest possible measurement for a chemical seal mounted to a gauge pressure transmitter is 10 mbar and we can even reach as low as 2 mbar for a DP measurement. We offer a temperature range from –140 °C to a maximum temperature of 400 °C. With a wide choice of system fill fluids and diaphragm materials, the Badotherm chemical seal range is the most flexible and extensive available in the industry.
Badotherm seals can be added to virtually any pressure measuring device. Pressure gauges, transmitters, sensors and switches are all compatible. The purpose of a chemical seal is to protect instrumentation from extreme temperatures, and from aggressive, highly viscous, corrosive, heterogeneous abrasive, and toxic media’s. Chemical seals enable not only, hygienic connection of measuring instruments in the process industry, but can also be used for simple wastewater applications or more highly sophisticated process- and petrochemical applications

Diaphragm Seals with Thread or with Flange Connection, Models MDM 7210, 7211 and 7280
Chemical seals models MDM 7210 and 7211 consist of three separate parts: the upper housing with welded diaphragm, the lower housing and the attachment flange.
Different materials can be combined, and different connection types and sizes. This way, our chemical seals series MDM 72.. are available in suitable variations for innumerable applications and media.
The construction and function of these models are similar, but the allowed minimum and especially the maximum pressures differ.
MDM 7280 is constructed for higher pressure (400 or 600 bar). It has no separate attachement flange as the other models, but the upper and the lower housing are tied directly together by 6 bolts M 20.

VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps are totally oil free, mechanical vacuum pumps. Diaphragm pumps are the efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to water jet pumps. They do not consume water and, therefore, they do not produce contaminated waste water. Diaphragm pumps can be used in a multitude of applications for vacuum generation in laboratories and process plants, such as vacuum filtration, vacuum degasing, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying chambers, rotary evaporators, distillation, gel dryers, gas analytical systems and roughing of wide-range turbo molecular pumps.
Diaphragm pumps offer low ultimate vacuum down to 80 mbar (one-stage pumps), 9 mbar (two-stage pumps), 2 mbar (three-stage pumps) or 0.3 mbar (four-stage pumps). Optimized kinetics for minimum work and wear of the diaphragm result in high reliability, low scuffing, long life and low noise level of the diaphragm. Only selected resistant materials such as FPM (e.g. Viton® fluoroelastomers) and aluminium or PTFE compounds - depending on the version - are used for the gas and vapour contacted parts.
|
|
- combination of a diaphragm pump with a rotary vane pump
- for the fine-vacuum range in special applications, e.g. for aggressive gases and vapours, for evacuation of solvent recovery vapours, for pumping of vapours which are soluble in oil
- example of use: freeze drying
|
|
ILMVAC diaphragm pumps are available:

- quiet running
- long lifetime
- very easy to service
- low operating costs
Range of applications:
- for dry, oil-free applications in the rough and medium-high vacuum range

The PPI line of diaphragm compressors includes single and multi-stage diaphragm compressor models with displacements to 400 cfm (680 m3/hr) and pressures to 30,000 psi (2000 bar). A variety of head closure designs, power-frames, accessories, and materials of construction allow us to match a diaphragm compressor to most process parameters.
The metal diaphragm group of the diaphragm compressor isolates the process gas from the hydraulic fluid and all lubricated parts to ensure purity. Ultrafram diaphragm technology and proprietary cavity design provide unmatched diaphragm life.
Diaphragm Compressors are used for cylinder filling, hydrogen fuel cell technology, or transfer of high purity or dangerous gases under pressure, without contamination or leakage. Since 1954, PPI diaphragm compressors have been specified to provide non-contaminating, leak tight compression.
A leader in hydrogen fuel cell technology, Pressure Products, Inc. (PPI) has the hydrogen compressor system that is sure to meet your requirements. Developed for reliability and longevity, a hydrogen gas compressor from PPI allows you to have more control over using the element, hydrogen. Our hydrogen compressor efficiency systems are greatly sought after with nearly 70% of compressors being sold by PPI as hydrogen compressors. Recognized for our high-impact safety features that are included with our state-of-the-art hydrogen compressors, and leak-tight compression, there are many benefits to hydrogen fuel cell technology from PPI.
