The type 404753 pressure transmitter measures the pressure in both corrosive and noncorrosive gases, vapors, liquids and dusts. The transmitter operates on the piezoresistive measuring principle. The output signal is a DC current that is proportional to the input pressure.
The type 404753 pressure transmitter fulfills the following requirements for equipment group II
in Zone 1 and 2 areas with an explosion hazard arising from gas (Gas).
The pressure connection (process connection) may, however, also be mounted on to zone 0.
in Zone 21 and 22 areas with an explosion hazard arising from dust (Dust)
The EC type-examination certificate is designated: SNCH 03 ATEX 3545.
The pressure transmitter can also be used as a level probe (extra code /406).

200136 Seal-Leak Detection (SLD) Transducer
The 200136 SLD transducer incorporates highly reliable proximity probe technology observing a moving diaphragm to detect static pressure changes on the non-pressurized end of single or double seals or between tandem or dual seals. Changes in pressure indicate failing seals. The transducer is specifically designed for use with our 200135 TIM as part of a Trendmaster® Pro system for continuous monitoring of process pumps handling toxic or flammable materials in the chemical and hydrocarbon processing industries |

The most common use of ultrasonic noise detection is to locate leaks in pressurised systems. When air escapes through an orifice, the flow becomes turbulent. This vortex of air has an ultrasonic signature. This ultrasonic noise is characteristically identified as a "rushing" sound with very few discernable single audio tones. The Ultrasonic detector is specifically tuned to listen for this vortex tone.
Detection of leaks within high-pressure systems can be relatively simple. However, low-pressure systems require an addition technique. Very small leaks in fuel system "bag tanks" and welded seams etc can be too small to be detected using the ultrasonic vortex signature however, the leak can be amplified by adding a low viscosity liquid to the seam or joint. Small bubbles are generated at the location of the leak, these micro bubbles burst provoking ultrasonic emissions that are easily detected by the GE Druck AEROSPACE TOOL KIT. |
