Flow Control Valves/Flow Control and Check Valves
These valves are pressure and temperature compensating type valves and maintain a constant flow rate independent of change in system pressure (load) and temperature (viscosity of the fluid). They control the speed of the actuator precisely. The valves with an integral check valve allow a controlled flow and reverse free flow. Repeated resetting can be made easily with a digital readout.

Low Noise Type Pilot Operated Reliel Valves
Pilot operated relief valves here have been particularly developed as low noise type. To protect the pumps and control valves from an excessive pressure, the valves are used to control the pressure in the hydraulic system to constant level. The remote control and unloading can be done by using the vent circuit.

The fine threads of the needle valve permit excellent adjustment for precise control of flow. The flow is restricted in both directions and is adjustable from 0 to the equivalent flow of a 0.025" diameter orifice. The 7-turn adjustment needle valves are available in two models, the standard model and the fine adjustment model. The standard adjustment model has a pin angle of 6° with 10-64 threads; the fine adjustment model has a pin angle of 4° with 10-80 threads.

The miniature Preset Flow Control is ideal for many applications involving pneumatic systems, including the control of cylinder speed.
The operation of the flow control is based on the movement of a small disc. The flat surface on one side of the orificed disc seals and permits flow through the orifice. The amount of flow permitted in the reverse direction is determined by the orifice size. In the forward direction full flow is permitted. The flow controls design allows a maximum supply pressure of 75 PSI with a minimum cracking pressure of less than 10” H2O. Orifice sizes are available from .004” to .040”.

APPLICATION:
To control the flow of Water, Air, Gas, Solvents, Vacuum and any other fluids not reactive with construction materials and free of sediment. Buna N seating of the pilot and main orifices make the valves ideal for TIGHT SEATING, LOW PRESSURE and LOW FLOW conditions. Valve operates from zero to maximum differential pressure indicated in table. Valve must be mounted in horizontal pipe with solenoid enclosure vertical and on top.
OPERATION:
Valve closes when energized and opens when de-energized. When the coil is energized the plunger presses the poppet, closing the pilot orifice, and opens a bleed passageway to permit pressure to build above the piston and seat it. Upon de-energizing the coil, the pilot orifice is opened, relieving the pressure above the piston allowing it to leave its seat. The bottom spring allows the valve to operate at zero pressure drop.

The Brand, Series 83 is a two port, non-adjustable, pressure compensated, inline flow control, with free reverse flow. The amount of flow is determined by the diameter of the orifice in the compensator piston. The spring and piston are held in place when it is connected to an #8 SAE male fitting. This flow control is inexpensive and gives the customer the ability to change the flow rate by swapping the piston with another that has a different size orifice.

The Porter Model EPC Electronic Proportional Control Valve is an electromagnetically-actuated, proportional control valve designed for use in closed loop flow or pressure control systems. When coupled with a flow sensor or pressure transducer and a proportional electronic controller, Model EPC is capable of providing steady and precise control of gas flow rates or pressures. The Model EPC is a DC-driven, normally-closed valve which includes an elastomeric valve seat to provide bubble-tight shut-off. A broad range of flow coefficients (Cv’s) is available for either flow or pressure control.

The EL-PRESS series digital electronic Pressure Meters and Controllers have a well-proven compact thru-flow design and are available in pressure ranges from 2-100 mbar up to 8-400 bar, both in absolute and relative (gauge) pressure. A differential pressure transducer can also be supplied in the ranges of 2-100 mbar up to 0,3-15 bar. The pressure controller performs with high accuracy and repeatability and should be specified for forward or backward pressure control. Todays EL-PRESS series are equipped with a diaphragm type piezoresistive pressure sensor and a digital pc-board as standard and offer high accuracy, stability and reliability. The series A4 digital differential pressure controller is a patent pending microprocessor based pressure controller for positive, negative, and differential pressure as well as velocity and flow. The Series A4 differential pressure controller includes (2) 8A SPDT relays and an associated software package that allows full configuration of variables such as setpoints, dead band, engineering units, flow coefficients, and more. The programming is done from a user friendly menu on the OLED display or uploaded using an OptiLink™ programming key. The OLED also displays the exact setpoints or other user defined variables during normal operation.
