The 984M differential pressure measuring transmitters cover a pressure range from 0...100 Pa to max. 0...250 kPa. To ensure optimum adjustment to the respective pressure-related application, the models are equipped with multiple jumpers.
A new feature is the selectable output signal of 0…10 Volt or 4…20mA, which the user himself can set by means of a jumper on site during the installation.
The new model can also be automatically zeroed quite easily by the user himself. This is done by simply disconnecting the measuring transmitter from the pressure and pressing a button.
The ability to select between two different pressure ranges is already known from the previous model. Version 984M.323104b, for example, allows the user to select between the pressure ranges 0...250 and 0...500 Pascal.
A key advantage offered by the 984M.3x3114b model is the option of equipping it with a 3.5-digit LED display, whose brightly illuminated red figures can also be easily read in difficult conditions.

The differential pressure transmitters of the 985M series are used for measuring differential pressure, positive pressure and vacuum.
They offer 2 pressure ranges which can alternatively be selected by a jumper. The IP65 body protects the pressure transducer even in difficult environments.
Monitoring gaseous, non-aggressive media. Possible areas of application are:
air-conditioning and clean rooms
building automation
environmental protection
fan and blower control
valve and flap control
filter and blower monitoring
fluid and level monitoring
control of air flows
For optimum adaptation to the pressure application, the
transmitter can be switched between two pressure ranges.
The factory setting is the sensitive range 1, which is selected
by fitting a jumper. Removing the jumper activates the
non-sensitive range 2.
The output signal of the 3-wire version is configurable. The
factory setting is for a 0 ...10 Volt output signal, but this can be
changed to 4 ... 20 mA by removing the jumper. The 2-wire
version is only available with a 4 ... 20 mA output signal.

MSI sensor interface IC
The MSI integrated interface IC is a multi-channel Sensor interface IC. It generates dynamically to a maximum of 3 Sensor signals by means of current- and voltage- controlled resistance bridges (among other things switch- selectable input sensitivity) and provides subse-quent evaluation systems with A/D- converted signals via digital interface.
Furthermore, the IC enables the equalization of temperature due to an on Chip integrated temperature measurement or loadable reference charts. As well it supplies connected Sensors also with power supply. The IC in particular distinguishes itself besides the on Chip integrated functionality by a high signal solution in the case of simultaneous stability as well as a low power consumption.
The IC is suitable for evaluation of differential Sensor signals, as those that are supplied by pressure Sensors, Hall Sensors and Sensors, that work according to the principle of a resistance bridge (e.g. extension bridges, Piezo or Magneto-resistive Sensors).

The ARES Series is a small, low cost pressure transducer which is able to measure pressures as low as 0 to 5 inches of water, 0 to 10 inches of water, 0 to 15 inches of water, and 0 to 1 psi. Sensitivity to extremely low pressures combined with the small physical size make this device ideally suited for applications such as HVAC, medical equipment, and flow monitoring. The GA100 series has a 4V span from 0.50V to 4.50V and the GA200 series has a 3.75V span from 0.25V to 4.00V. The plastic housing design for the ARES Series makes the device very user friendly. The housing is designed to be printed circuit board mountable, requiring no additional hardware. Built into the housing are self-locking pins which insure a secure fit between the housing and the PCB. The pressure ports are 3/16" barbed ports which mate with industry standard 1/8" or 3/16" ID tubing. These ports are mounted 90° to the printed circuit board to allow other boards to be located above the sensor. The ARES Series utilizes a unique sensor circuit design to provide ASIC digital error correction and signal amplification while maintaining an analog signal path. This technique delivers the high level of error correction associated with microprocessor-based circuits, while maintaining a typical bandwidth of >1 kHz generally found only in analog circuits. The result is a pressure sensor that offers the ultimate in low cost and high accuracy, while preserving the fast response and smooth output inherent to silicon sensors.

PUC 24 Process monitoring device for clean rooms
Sensitive measurement technology
Demands for increased quality in nearly every area of industry have led to more and more processes being conducted under clean-room conditions. Ensuring these conditions means monitoring room pressure, temperature and humidity. The new PUC 24 process monitoring device from halstrup-walcher has been specially designed for just such applications.
In essence, the PUC 24 is a differential pressure transducer that utilizes an inductive measurement principle to provide very high resolution of 0.1 Pa at a retest precision of 0.1%. Cyclical self-calibration of the zero point ensures proper measurement stability. The measurement range of ±100 Pa is freely scalable. Also available are inputs for temperature and humidity sensors; these can be set from 0-10 V or from 0/4-20 mA. All measurement values can be clearly read on a graphic LCD. Additional contact outputs are available for separate alarm signals. The device communicates with the master control module via a Profibus. The housing designed for front-flush installation is particularly innovative. Function keys are integrated into a stainless-steel keypad that forms a single smooth surface along the front of the housing. A mounting frame put in place when setting up the clean room makes the PUC 24 easier to install – four screws are all you need. This solution is the product of practical experience and simplifies more than just installation: the simple mounting system makes it possible to remove units quickly and effortlessly for calibration purposes or when switching units to accommodate changes in the process.

P 26
Intelligent differential pressure transducer
with scalable measurement range.
Sensitive measurement technology in innovative housing
Demands for increased quality in nearly every area of industry have subjected pressure gauges to sophisticated demands as well. These include clean room monitoring and the ability to monitor sterile environments in the packaging machines used in products for such industries as foods and pharmaceuticals. The new P 26 differential pressure transducer from halstrup-walcher has been specially designed to meet these demands.
The P 26 is a differential pressure transducer that meets these particularly sophisticated demands. Measurement ranges between 100 Pa and 100 kPa are freely scalable from 10 to 100%, and provide the option of switching to other units of measurement like mmH2O, mmHg, etc. Cyclical self-calibration of the zero point ensures a high level of measurement stability. Two cutoff points are available that can be set freely along the entire measurement range; these allow the user to connect visual or audible alarms that would be triggered any time values fall above or below limits. All measurement values can be clearly read on an optional graphic LCD. The instrument can, if necessary, communicate with a master control unit via an RS 232 interface and can be mounted either on a wall or on top-hat rails.
A hand-held unit can be used as a configurator for the one-time calibration when using more than one of the affordable P 26 pressure transducer without a display.

Differential pressure transmitter type FDA602D
This measures the differential pressure in liquid and gaseous
media indirectly using two absolute pressure sensors.
This makes it less expensive but more robust with respect to
asymmetrical overload.
The differential pressure range should be at least 5% of the
standard pressure range.
Each side of the sensor incorporates two pressure
connections. The transmitters can thus be used easily and
conveniently in pressure pipes.
It incorporates a high-speed, high-precision microprocessor.
All reproducible errors affecting the pressure sensors, i.e.
involving non-linearity and temperature dependency, can be
completely eliminated by means of mathematical error
compensation.
