Pressure Switches
Baratron Gauge Pressure Switch
The MKS Types 41, 42, 51 and 52 Vacuum, Atmospheric and Pressure Switches offer accurate and reliable protection for vacuum equipment, atmospheric switching, and vacuum/pressure processes. Designed for applications where a DC signal output is not required, these switches provide relay outputs that are readily interfaced with alarms, valve actuators, computers, process controllers, load locks and other protection devices.
The Type 41/42 switches reference atmosphere while the Type 51/52 switches reference vacuum. The Type 41/42 switches are often used to ensure a loadlock pressure has equilibrated to local atmospheric pressure before opening the door. The trip point on MKS' atmospheric switches can be set to trip above, below (reverse calibration), or exactly at current atmospheric pressure. Applications for the 51/52 switches include soft pumping, gas box switching, and safety interlocks.

Differential pressure indicators (DPIs)
"On condition" maintenance is a feature of modern fluid power technology. Our DPIs provide a signal to show the extent of filter blockage thus reducing maintenance time and costs by eliminating unnecessary filter element change.
Our range includes differential pressure indicators, switches and electrical indicators.
Microfiltrex can provide DPIs with many special features :
* Visual and/or electrical indication
* Thermal lock
* Flow surge suppression
* Non-reset function

The measuring principle of the mechanical pressure switch is a spring loaded diaphragm respectively for higher pressure ranges a spring loaded piston. The high mechanical service life, high contact rating and the compact design characterize the tecsis differential pressure switch.High quality parts and a integrated micro switch obtain a outstanding reliability and accuracy. The switching reliability and long service life are guaranteed by either a silver plated or optional gold plated contact.
Mechanical differential pressure switches are suitable for all areas, where an electrical signal is related to a given differential pressure value. They are especially designed for applications of controlling and monitoring differential pressures of filters, level measurement and flow measurement or for universal usage in machine and plant constructions.

Relative and absolute pressure switch Type 615
Relative –1 ... 0 - 600 bar
Absolute 0 ... 0.3 - 16 bar
The type 615 pressure switches measure pressure by means of highly resistant ceramic elements. An open collector (transistor) output accommodates loads up to 100 mA. Either an N/C or N/O contact may be used, and the upper and lower switching point can be freely selected in the range 5 to100% fs. Various electrical and pressure connections are available to suit given applications.

Electronical pressure switch MagSwitch with integrated LED
The compact electronic pressure switch MagSwitch provides pressure monitoring. Adjusting screws are used to set the switching point whilst under pressure. Integrated LEDs indicate the current switching state.
The principle of non-impact measurement based on the Hall-effect produces a pressure switch which has a high level of repeatability and durability, even in the case of a high number of pressure cycles.
The contact functions (normally open / normally closed) and the contact types (p-switching / n-switching) are available as optional extras. Switching currents ranging from a few Micro-Amps to 100mA allow the MagSwitch to be easily integrated into almost any control system. The adjustable hysteresis enables to build up 2-position controllers easily without additional external components.
A pressure connection free of elastomers qualifies the MagSwitch for many liquid and gaseous media.
The metal diaphragm can also be used without any problem for simultaneously occurring pressure and vacuum.

The dV-2 PS is a sophisticated digital pressure gauge with two independent pressure switch outputs. The gauge employs KELLER’s proven microprocessor technology which produces highly accurate results. All readings are linearised and temperature corrected, to give an accuracy of 0,2 %FS.
There are two independent switches for High and Low control functions. These are solid state and therefore not subject to wear. The switch points are programmed directly from the two front panel buttons and a menu system. Alternatively, the dV-2 PS can be connected via the RS485 link to a laptop/PC, and configured using KELLER’s “Pressure Switch Console” software. User defined configurations can be stored on the computer for future reference. Pressure sequences can also be monitored and recorded on the PC for application diagnostic purposes using KELLER’s Read30 software.
