The E2K-C family offers the application versatility of capacitive style proximity sensing in the flexibility of a threaded cylindrical sensor to detect metallic and non-metallic objects. This family of sensors are ideal for non-contact sensing of metallic and non-metallic targets including water, oil, glass, plastic and wood, even detecting liquid levels inside non-metallic containers. These sensors have multi-turn adjusters allowing the user-adjustable settings of the detection distance. The E2K-C can even reliably detect foamy liquids in sight glass applications.

When short-range sensing applications demand repeatable and reliable On/Off control performance, the high-frequency, fixed-window SUPERPROX® Model SM600 Series ultrasonic proximity sensors are the ideal solution. These noncontact, self-contained sensors are unmatched for the reliable detection of objects of all kinds, transparent or opaque, liquid or solid, and as small as 1.6 mm (0.06") rod diameter, regardless of color or shape. Offering a variety of sensing ranges, up to 305 mm (12"), and fixed sensing windows, this series provides for the convenient placement of SM600 sensors throughout the plant.
Given the capability to “back off” from formerly “nearly-touching” mounting positions, these sensors are the solution for such applications as: metal parts as close as 25 mm (1"), moving back-to-back at speeds in excess of 2000 per minute. Others include: cap presence and/or tilt detection, fill-level checking, fill-tube-presence monitoring, downed container detection, case inspection, detection of container edges, web monitoring and CD case inspection where opacity, color and height vary, and wherever there’s a need to upgrade a metal prox function.

The RPS-400-6 is a compact, high frequency sensor. It was introduced to the Migatron family of ultrasonic sensors to better meet the needs of the machine manufacturing industry.
This sensor has a wide array of application solutions not found in other proximity sensor technologies. The RPS-400-6 has an adjustable two to six inch sensing range with background suppression (meaning any object within the desired range is detected, while objects out of the desired range are ignored).
It cannot be affected by changes in target color or material. The RPS-400-6 is capable of detecting vibrating and/or tilting targets. A response time of no more than 2.1 ms and an operating frequency of 300 kHz makes the RPS-400-6 a repeatable and accurate high speed sensor.
The RPS-400-6 is a three wire NPN transistor output device. The transistor can switch 30VDC at 50 mA continuously. A six-foot cable comes standard with the RPS-400-6. Special cable lengths or connectors are also available for OEM applications.

Significant scientific and engineering enhancements in advanced materials, Pre-Process and In-Process production methods and in-site testing methods are driving the demand for displacement sensors that can handle extremely high temperatures up to 1832°F (1000°C). Contemporary producers of aircraft engine rotational alignment, plate glass, materials testing extensometry, continuous flow steel, now use standardized high temperature Capacitec sensor solutions for in-process applications to control the quality of their production on a real time basis. These are made of a reed switch, which can be switched by a
magnet.
There is no mechanical movement and the contacts are protected
and hermetically enclosed in a glass bulb which contains
inert gasses, mechanical and electrical deterioration is
therefore kept to minimum.
The standard version is supplied with open, closed and changeover
contacts.

for 6-8-10-12-18 mm. dia. and smooth 12 mm is available with
threaded 9PG.
