IPS 9000
Armstrong’s Integrated Pumping System (IPS) automatically ensures delivery of required pumping capacity to match key building loads, while maintaining pumping energy costs at a minimum. With the use of system load detectors, such as differential pressure sensors, at one or more remote load locations, the Armstrong IPS automatically and continuously provides just the required flow for the current needs. HVAC system load requirements vary considerably during a typical day. Considerable energy savings result when pumping capacity is continuously matched to the load. Pumps may be operated as 100% standby or in a multiple pump, staged parallel sequence. Armstrong’s IPS can control as many as six (6) pumps in parallel, with up to eighteen (18) remote system load sensors. Dedicated or shared Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) may be used, with or without power bypass systems. Armstrong offers the most advanced IPS available, with the flexibility to meet the most demanding pumping applications.

EPC Servo Controller
EPC is an acronym for Electronic Pump Controller. However it is much more than a simple pump controller. The EPC Servo Amplifier Module is a micro controller-operated component that can be applied to operate servo or proportionally operated pumps and valves. Because of it's onboard microprocessor this unit can perform many additional functions that your typical Servo Amplifier can not. The unit can be configured for several types of control applications including:
- Flow Control
- Flow Control with Pressure Limit
- Flow Control with System Horse Power Limit
- Pressure Control
- Pressure Control with Flow Preset
- Closed Loop Speed Control
- Load Sense Control

These days, it is hard to imagine modern laboratories
without controller-operated vacuum
pump systems. They deliver precise vacuum
and offer widely diverse control functions for a
huge range of applications in the laboratory.
The new vacuum pump system SC 920 now
supports remote control over a portable hand
terminal, thus ensuring maximum flexibility in
the laboratory. Fast process times and high precision
are further outstanding features of this
new product.
Thanks to wireless remote control, it is
no longer essential for the vacuum
pump system to be located in the immediate
vicinity of the processing equipment.
The pump system can now be
easily stowed away, i.e. in units under
the work bench or in a fume hood,
without the hassle of laying cables.
