AWIS is Jacobsen's fully automatic wheel recognition software. It is an add-on module that can be installed anywhere where a process requires automated wheel identification.
Automatic Wheel Identification System (AWIS) is a new way to automate the identification of cast aluminum wheels. The system uses precision optics and sophisticated computer control to accurately and consistently identify cast aluminum wheels. The system runs on a standard Windows PC, and is programmed using a simple, intuitive operator interface.
The system is available as a standalone turnkey module, or as components to integrate with an existing process and transport system.
