- Using the features of AdvancedMC, MicroTCA provides high performance and high availability in one system. MicroTCA has the advantages and technology of AdvancedTCA but in a small form factor. This new technology is used in multiple industries with many different applications. In general, every application of AdvancedMC modules is also possible with MicroTCA modules. Schroff will supply development tools, standard applications and customised systems to further develop this new technology.

Elma offers AC and DC horizontal enclosures in 2U and 5U heights and a DC-only version in 4U height. They include a wide range of backplane, shelf management,and other options. Pluggable and redundant fan trays, PEMs and shelf managers provide the highest level of availability (99.999%). The units have been optimized via backplane signal integrity studies and chassis thermal simulation.
The 2nd Gen 19" rackmount vertical ATCA chassis is designed for carrier-grade applications. The 13U chassis features a 14 -slot Dual Star or Mesh backplane. BMX-R10 System
The BMX-R10 Mini-ITX System supports the Avalue EMX-M6901G Mini-ITX motherboard. The system features an onboard AMD 200U 1GHz processor, a 2.5” HDD drive bay, and supports up to 4GB of DDR2 SODIMM memories. The rear panel I/O ports include USB, VGA, DVI, COM, KB/MS, LAN, Audio and a DC-in jack. The front panel has a power status LED indicator. The BMX-R10 system has a metal, seamless, black chassis that can be wall mounted or stand on a desktop. It measures only 260mm in width, 186mm in depth, and 58.5mm in height. It uses a 60-watt power adaptor.

MicroTCA is complementary to PICMG3.0 ATCA. Where AdvancedTCA is optimized for very high capacity and high performance applications, MicroTCA is designed to address cost sensitive and physically smaller applications with lower capacity, performance, and perhaps less stringent availability requirements. MicroTCA preserves many of the important philosophies of AdvancedTCA, including basic interconnect topologies and management structure.

"PRATIK PC" is a special configuration particulary engineered to accomodate industrial Personal Computer.
- The upper tempered glass door with handle allows the operator to look at the monitor.
- The lowest part, equipped with 19" rack mount frames or full-width separator shelves, is suitable to contain PC, UPS and/or printers. For safety sake this part is closed by a blind metal door with handle.
- The middle part contains a sliding shelf for housing the keyboard. This section has its own opening, in order that the operator can have access to the keyboard only.
Like all PRATIK cabinets, it has a rear metal door with lock and keys and metal side walls.
It is available in 1.795 (37U) and 2.018 (42U) heights.
