Parr glass reactors offer a corrosion resistant vessel with Teflon coated internals. Glass reactors also permit direct observation of mixing action, color changes, or changes of state. The 5000 Multiple Reaction System from Parr Instrument Company has been designed for rapid screening of catalyst and similar parallel or combinatorial studies. It features six individual reactors (45 ml or 75 ml) for operating pressures to 3000 PSI and temperatures to 225ºC (o-ring gasket) or 300ºC (PTFE gasket).
