High pressure reactors can be customized with sightglasses, liners & high pressure analytical probes. Ease of cleaning & elimination of foot bearings manufacturers reduces the risk of cross-contamination. It has indefinite service life & improved experimental repeatability compared to non-stirred industrial autoclaves, laboratory bombs & reaction kettles. See AE Closure Ultra High Pressure Reactors for pressures above 5,000 psi (379 bar). See Easy Open Laboratory Reactors for pressures of 3,300 psi (227 bar) or less.
Parr offers over 100,000 possible combinations of stirred reactors with volumes ranging from 25 ml to 5 gallons. An extensive choice of designs can efficiently and cost-effectively meet the individual user's operating requirements with pressures up to 5000 PSI for operating temperatures to 500ºC. And that's before we even start to talk about customization.
Parr glass reactors offer a corrosion resistant vessel with Teflon coated internals. Glass reactors also permit direct observation of mixing action, color changes, or changes of state. Vessels are rated to 150 PSI (10 bar) at 225ºC. Six sizes are available from 160mL to 1,500mL in glass and glass jacketed versions.
The 5000 Multiple Reaction System from Parr Instrument Company has been designed for rapid screening of catalyst and similar parallel or combinatorial studies. It features six individual reactors (45 ml or 75 ml) for operating pressures to 3000 PSI and temperatures to 225ºC (o-ring gasket) or 300ºC (PTFE gasket). A magnetic stirrer bar provides sample mixing.
Parr Tubular Reactors combine continuous flow reactions with an endless number of customization possibilities. Tubular reactors are always used in a continuous flow mode with reagents flowing in and products being removed. Flow can be single phase or two-phased, single wall or jacketed.
