Just as quiet as an air conditioner (about 62 dBA), the Vortex A/C noise level is 73% less than other conventional, vortex type cabinet coolers. When the thermostatically-controlled Vortex A/C is operating, the decibel level is about the same as normal human conversation!
This next generation, Vortex Cooler features an integral mechanical thermostat to conserve energy and maintain enclosure temperatures within a range of 27° to 32 °C. Requiring only a compressed air supply to operate, the UL listed Vortex A/C quickly installs in a 1,5" knockout hole to keep electrical control panels cool, clean and protected.
When the going gets tough...
Using vortex tube technology, cold air is generated by the Vortex A/C from the compressed air supply and is distributed throughout the enclosure. Since ambient air never enters the cabinet, it's perfect for harsh, dirty environments. In fact, the Vortex A/C features an optional "purge-air" port that, when opened, will provide a constant positive pressure inside the enclosure to purge the cabinet of any contaminated surrounding air. Withstanding extreme temperature conditions, the Vortex A/C will provide reliable cooling operation in environments up to 79° C.

Vortex Coolers from ITW Vortec keep electrical cabinets and control panels cool, clean and protected. An affordable, maintenance-free alternative to air conditioners, the easy-to-install Coolers have no moving parts to wear out. Vortex Coolers incorporate vortex tube technology that uses filtered compressed air to produce a refrigerated air stream distributed throughout the enclosure. Unlike fans that pull in hot, dirty air, the enclosure Coolers maintain a light positive pressure inside the cabinet to effectively seal out the surrounding contamination, heat and humidity that can wreak havoc on sensitive electronic controls. Refrigerated air produced by the vortex tube enters the cabinet while hot air is expelled through a relief valve. Models are available to deliver up to 5000 BTUH of refrigeration. The UL-listed enclosure cooler systems are thermostatically controlled and are available in NEMA 12, 4 and 4X rated models.

Meech Air Technology Stainless Steel Cabinet Cooler Systems provide a cold air source to stop cabinets overheating and prevent ingress of contamination such as dust or moisture. When compared to fans that are commonly found in cabinets, Meech Cabinet Cooling Systems provide the ideal cooling solution. The Vortex tube is at the heart of the Cabinet Cooler. The cold air produced by the Vortex tube flows into the cabinet through the bulkhead fitting and is then ducted to a known problem component or to the centre of the cabinet. HXi™ Series Heat Exchanger
Our HXi™ Series air-to-air heat exchangers are designed primarily for cooling indoor and outdoor electronic enclosures. They use a double-sided impingement technology to significantly improve heat transfer performance while reducing heat exchanger size. Tests verify that the HXi™ heat exchanger is capable of dissipating twice the heat load of competitive heat exchangers at a comparable size.
Thermacore’s patented design makes the HXi™ Series a low-cost and high-performance alternative to conventional heat exchanger technologies. There are fewer moving parts for greater overall reliability. Standard units are available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 fans. Custom optional features such as alarms and temperature controls are also available. The Peltier effect is a thermoelectric effect, named after the French physicist Jean Peltier. Respectively doped (n-type and p-type) semiconductor materials are used, which are alternately connected in series, each at two junctions. An electric current flowing through that system causes a change in the energy level of charge carriers, thus providing heat being absorbed at one junction and being evolved at the other.

Chillers of the ‚FL Series‘ - Environment-friendly and economic cooling
With the FL line JULABO presents the latest generation of chillers for routine cooling applications in laboratories and industry. 20 different models with cooling capacities from 1.7 kW up to 11 kW and numerous features offer the ideal solution for any application. The working temperature range covers –20°C to +40°C at a temperature stability of ±0.5°C. Four different pump types with flow rates of up to 60 l/min respectively and 6 bar pressure will meet any requirement. All units have an LED temperature display integrated into a splash water proof keypad for easy cleaning. An RS232 interface as well as an analog alarm output are located on the front panel and the lift-up cover placed on the top gives easy access to the filling port. An additional hinged tray serves as a compartment for the operating manual and other documents. The removable venting grid allows for easy cleaning of the condenser. All models include an easily visible level indicator. Models with a pump pressure of more than 1 bar additionally have a pressure gauge and feature a bypass to adjust the pump capacity. Venting slots are exclusively located on the front and back and allow placing the units directly next to each other.

LAUDA circulation chillers of the WK class are used wherever process heat must be extracted quickly and reliably during chemical production processes or from technical equipment. The compact LAUDA WKL high-performance coolers are designed for temperatures down to -30 °C.

Compared to cooling using mains water, the LAUDA circulation chillers of the WK class offer a consistent temperature, independent of the season and pressure fluctuations. A cooling temperature of down to -30 °C can be reached, this is not possible with mains water. And all that at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C. Saving water further protects the environment and reduces operating costs.
The circulation chillers of the WK class are available with different cooling and pump outputs as well as futher options like the RS 232/485 interface and various accessory parts.
The difference between circulation chillers of the WKL-class to the WKclass is that they also cover the temperature range below 0 °C. The powerful WKL 1200 to WKL 10000 W circulation chillers can reach temperatures down to -30 °C without any problems, and can be used e.g. for recondensation of solvent recycling or for cold traps.

The Rotacool is a co-product of Heidolph and Huber. Kodiak compressor-based recirculating chillers are an ideal solution when you need a cooling system with precise temperature control (±0.1°C) or cooling below ambient temperature. Liquid-to-Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS)
Cooling capacities up to 20 kW
Liquid-to-Liquid cooling systems offer precise temperature control of process water and transfer the waste heat to facility water. They are ideal for high heat load applications where precise temperature control (±0.5°C) is needed and chilled facility water is available. Applications include medical equipment, industrial machine tools, printing equipment, and cabinet cooling.
Ambient Cooling Systems (Modular Cooling System%u2014MCS)
Cooling capacities up to 3.5 kW
Modular Cooling Systems are non-refrigerated cooling systems. They are a cost-effective alternative to recirculating chillers for applications where precise temperature control and cooling below ambient temperature are not required. Applications include analytical equipment, cabinet cooling, medical equipment, and laser systems.

RC 40-100
COMBI CHILLERS
Among the main features of this series of machines, a high C.O.P. (coefficient of performance) , a very compact structure as well as the centrifugal fans, are available as a standard. The range develops itself in different models of power for 40 – 60 – 80 – 100 kW. Chillers come equipped with a complete hydraulic circuit having a pump and a storage tank, besides pressure gauge, filter and a flow switch, specifically introduced to protect the evaporator and the pump’s mechanical seal.

COMBI CHILLERS
Thanks to uniform width and height values on all the models, it is possible to create different combinations using more machines, also in different times. The second control tool allows to program only one temperature set for both circuits, while the original tools are useful to see each single circuit alarm.

The range of high power chillers includes 4 models going from 250 to 1000 KW. The RC Variant are variable chillers suitable for large refrigerating systems. The output of these machines varies from 25 to 100% of their capacity according to the actual needs. Condensing fans too are centrifugal and modulating. Energy savings exceed 40% in comparison with the scroll version.RC VARIANT is also produced in a tropicalized version and uses 134.A environmentally-friendly gas.
