COMMON FEATURES
Specifically developed for mounting on the wall or door of
electronic enclosures, the air conditioners cover a cooling
capacity range from 330W to 4000W.
Common to all models is the Selfcleaning condenser coil which remove the necessity of the air filter, avoiding the ordinary maintenance.
Most models are equipped with Condensate Dissipator (from EVE11).
The standard control is electromechanical, and as option an electronic
one (EBB). |

| Vortex CoolersTM from ITW Vortec keep electrical cabinets and control panels cool, clean and protected. An affordable, maintenance-free alternative to air conditioners, the easy-to-install Coolers have no moving parts to wear out. Vortex Coolers incorporate vortex tube technology that uses filtered compressed air to produce a refrigerated air stream distributed throughout the enclosure. Unlike fans that pull in hot, dirty air, the enclosure Coolers maintain a light positive pressure inside the cabinet to effectively seal out the surrounding contamination, heat and humidity that can wreak havoc on sensitive electronic controls. Refrigerated air produced by the vortex tube enters the cabinet while hot air is expelled through a relief valve. Models are available to deliver up to 5000 BTUH of refrigeration. The UL-listed enclosure cooler systems are thermostatically controlled and are available in NEMA 12, 4 and 4X rated models. |

Electronic control systems are prone to malfunctions if exposed to high temperatures. The cooling is often performed by the blowing-in of external air or via indirect air/air heat exchangers without filters.

The Control Cabinet Cooler has been constructed on the basis of 20 years of experience in refrigeration technology and tens of thousands of industrial cooling plants built for all kinds of applications. The cooling equipment is a unit ready for instant connection, and just an opening needs to be provided in the control cabinet for its installation.

The "option E" is equipped with an intrinsically safe

Compact heater for the use in enclosures with electrical/electronical components. The design of the heater supports the natural convection which results in a high air-current of warm air.
The surface temperatures on the accessible side surfaces of the housing are kept down as a result of the heater design.

This heater is also available in a version with plug-in thermostat requiring no additional wiring (CSF 060).
