Sizes 1/2%u2033 X 1%u2033 to 1-1/2%u2033 X 2-1/2%u2033. Effective orifice areas from 0.068 to 0.573
square inches. Pressures from 15 to 6500 psig. Temperature range of -450 F
to +750 F.
Stainless steel body and trim with carbon steel bonnet. Optional materials of
construction include complete 316 stainless steel, Monel, and Hastelloy C.
Materials suitable for NACE service available.
Available with threaded, flanged, socket weld, welding nipple or sanitary connections.
Optional O-ring seat for ultimate tightness. Maximum blow down
of 10% to 20% on all fluids. Balanced design available in %u201CC%u201D and %u201CD%u201D orifices
which nullify effects of backpressure.
Applications: air, gas, vapor, and liquid process service.

Sizes 1/2 X 1 & 3/4 X 1 (1890) and 1/2 X 3/4 & 3/4 X 3/4 (1896M).
Effective orifi ce areas of 0.077 (liquid) and 0.089 (vapor) square inches. Pressures
from 15 to 800 psig for stainless steel (1890) and 15 to 300 psig for bronze
(1896M). Temperature range from -20 F to +750 F (1890) and -450F to +400F
(1896M).
Materials of construction include stainless steel body and trim (1890) and brass
body and trim with bronze bonnet (1896M).
Applications: air, steam, gas, vapor and liquid process applications (1890) and
where service is compatible with brass and bronze (1896M). Also suitable for
cryogenic applications.

Positive Displacement (PD) pumps should always be installed with a Relief Valve in the discharge line, to protect the pump and piping against any type of line blockage, including the inadvertent closing of an isolation valve. Liquiflo manufactures two sizes of relief valves in both 316 Stainless Steel and Alloy-C.
Ten standard Liquiflo Relief Valve models are available, based on the body material, the port size, and the pressure setting range (see chart below). Models RV1000, RV1001, RV2000 and RV2001 are factory preset to discharge at 100 PSI (7 bar) unless a different pressure setting is requested when ordering; other models are preset to the pressure setting specified when ordering.

Working media
Applicable for all common refrigerants such as NH3, R22, R134A, R404A, R502, R507, R404A, R407C, R410A and non-corrosive gases/liquids. When using brines or refrigerants other then the above mentioned please consult your local Revalco representative.
Testing and Certification
Every valve will be calculated according to EN13136 and factory tested according to EN12284. The Design is according to CE PED 97/23/EC.

The RV-5200 and RV-5300 Series operate as either a relief valve or low flow back pressure regulators. Adjustments are made through a non-rising stem available with an attractive knob, plain to allow insulation of OEM knobs, or flush for "back panel" applications. A typical application would be the use of a unit between a compressor and a load to prevent the compressor from "loading up" when dead-ended.

Description
System-medium controlled overflow valves are simple and compact regulating devices which enable the flow to be precisely controlled; they are easily installed and maintained and control the pressure upstream of the valve without additional control elements being required. At the valve plug the upstream pressure to be controlled is in equilibrium with the force exerted by the valve spring.
