The new PROFIBUS compact repeater from Systeme Helmholz GmbH can be used flexibly due to its very compact size. The repeater enables transmission rates of 9.6 Kbps to 12 Mbps. The transmission signals are regenerated by the repeater and retransmitted.

AS-Interface networks up to 62 field devices onto a single pair of wires that delivers both signal and power. Actuator Sensor Interface, or AS-Interface, was developed by a group of sensor manufacturers and introduced into the market in 1994. MOFR are compact DIN-rail-mounted signal repeater units that convert time sync signals from copper or fibre input to copper and fibre output, providing electrical isolation between equipment being synchronized.
The MOFR receives a source time sync signal on the input side (either TTL, RS232, RS422 or ST Fibre) and reproduces the signal on the output side:
- TTL/232/422 simultaneously
- HV switching
- ST Fibre Tx
- Amplitude Modulated (AM) IRIG-B (from DC IRIG-B input or AM IRIG-B input).
