EPOLECTM is a modified epoxy resin developed by Epotech Composite Corporation. With nano-scaled elastomers formed after cured, EPOLECTM has high softening temperature and extremely strong tear strength and modulus, imparts excellent toughness and breaking elongation to composite's matrix under a higher load.
For a unidirectional continuous fibre reinforced composite, there is no doubt of the high tensile properties in the fibre direction. However, the transverse properties are generally low since the dependence upon the properties of matrix and the bond strength between resin and fibres.

Our standard laminating system for all-purpose applications is Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 734. It is used for manufacturing of composites for boats, pipes and containers. Further applications are found in component parts for the building industry and as repair material for composite parts. This system is approved according to no. 6410/01/19490 of Germanischer Lloyd.

Low viscosity epoxy resin system Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 903 is a laminating system with very long potlife. Larger batch sizes in areas with warmer climate are thus processable. The mix is warmed up to 50 °C until gelation has occurred. Post-curing is performed at ca 80 °C.
Curing schedule: Pre-heating of the resin/hardener mix to 50 °C, keeping 50 °C for 30 min, heating to 80 °C, keeping 80 °C for 1.5 - 2 h.
The system is preferably used for sewage renovation because it does not attack polyurethane films which cover the pipes.

RESOLTECH 1040 - 1405 is an epoxy resin system formulated for infusion applications. It enables to manufacture structural composites parts with all existing reinforcement fabrics. Thanks to its low viscosity and high wetting properties, it can be used by hand lay-up or via infusion, vaccum bagging and RTM. Once reticulated at ambient temperature, the parts should be post-cured according to the thermal cycle indicated in this datasheet in order to obtain the maximum mechanical properties of this resin system. It's TG of 150°C enables the realisation of high quality and performance parts as well as tooling for prepreg parts.

The VI5090 is a high resistance Gelcoat formulated on a Vinylester resin base. Its main characteristics are a very high resistance to solvents and chemical agents, which makes it an excellent product for tooling, but also its high TG of 105 degrees makes it a product of choice for Pre-preg parts For tooling, the VI 5090 enables the mould to have a permanent high gloss aspect resisting to many cycles between waxing/polishing. Thanks to its low dilatation module when exposed to temperature and its flexibility, the VI5090 is not prone to cracks and the appearance of mat zones. The VI 5090 comes in a Neutral (transparent) Color but can be delivered in any RAL color or with RAL pigments

To cope with annoying brown, opaque resin flow that hides the aesthetic and 3-dimentional feelings of carbon/plated woven fabrics, EPO-622TM can provide you an excellent solution. With no change of curing parameters under current medium temperature (at 150°C) curing process, EPO-622TM can impart a shinny and transparent skin to the cured products as well as no 'white spot' after sanding with water.

Epilox® M 923 and Epilox® - hardeners M 924 und M 925 are laminating systems which are preferably used for manufacturing of rotor blades for wind power stations. The main advantage of these systems, compared to our standard laminating system Epilox® M 730 + Epilox® - hardener M 734, is the compatibility of the fast curing hardener Epilox® - Härters M 924 with the slow curing hardener Epilox® - Härter M 925 allowing to adjust the reactivity of the batches in dependence on the ambient temperature. Mixtures of both hardeners may be prepared in any desired ratio without changing the mix ratio of resin and hardener. This system is approved according to no. WP 0320009 HH of Germanischer Lloyd.
