Weber provides a number of solutions that will help make certain you are ready to meet new and emerging radio frequency identification (RFID) labeling specifications.
Our special smart label printers and printer-applicators encode data on ultra-thin RFID transponders embedded in labels and tags, while simultaneously printing text, bar codes and graphics. We also offer a special RFID applicator that encodes, verifies and applies preprinted pressure-sensitive smart labels. Both the RFID printer-applicator and encoder-applicator include a special feature that rejects and recovers non-compliant smart labels prior to application. In addition, we offer smart labels for use in our own RFID encoder-printers, plus a range of pre-encoded labels and tags to satisfy associated identification applications.
The emergence of RFID mandates presents an exciting new opportunity to improve the way all of industry captures and uses product data throughout the supply chain. Weber is working very hard to ensure that our customers will have a dependable source on the leading edge of RFID development.
