The relay provides main protection for overhead lines, cable feeders and busbar systems of distribution substations. The feeder protection relay suits any radial distribution network and system earthing principle.
The IEC 61850 implementation in REF615 also includes fast horizontal relay-to-relay communication over the station bus. By means of this so called GOOSE communication the REF615 relays of the incoming and outgoing feeders of a substation can co-operate to form a stable, reliable and high-speed blocking based busbar protection.

The feeder protection relay REF 610 is part of the RE_ 610 series of numerical relays for the protection and supervision of utility substations, and industrial switchgear and equipment.

The motor protection relay REM 610 is part of the RE_ 610 series of numerical relays for the protection and supervision of utility substations, and industrial switchgear and equipment.
The motor protection relay REM 610 is primary targeted at protecting large asynchronous low-voltage motors and small and medium-sized high-voltage asynchronous motors. REM 610 handles electrical fault conditions during motor start up, normal operation, idling, and cooling down at standstill, e.g. in pump, fan, mill or crusher applications. The relay can be used with both circuit-breaker controlled and contactor-controlled drives. The voltage protection relay REU 610 is part of the RE_ 610 series of numerical relays for the protection and supervision of utility substations, and industrial switchgear and equipment.
The voltage protection relay is primary designed for the overvoltage protection of power system components, such as busbars, feeders, power transformers and capacitor batteries. The relay is also used for general power system earth-fault supervision. Further, the relay can be used for undervoltage protection of motors and overvoltage protection of capacitor batteries, for initialization of automatic busbar changeover, and for disconnecting small power units from the network in cases of network disturbance.

SIPROTEC 7RW600 is a numerical, multifunction relay for connection to voltage transformers. It can be used in distribution systems, on transformers and for electrical machines. If it detects any deviation from the permitted voltage, frequency or overexcitation values, it responds according to the values set.
SIPROTEC 7RW600 can be used for the purposes of system decoupling and for load shedding if ever there is a risk of a system collapse as a result of inadmissibly large frequency drops. Voltage and frequency thresholds can also be monitored.

SIPROTEC 7SS52 numerical protection is a selective, reliable and fast protection for busbar faults and breaker failure in medium, high and extra-high voltage substations with various possible busbar configurations.

The SIPROTEC 4 7SA522 is a distance protection relay for transmission lines. The 7SD610 relay is a differential protection relay suitable for all types of applications and incorporating all those functions required for differential protection of lines, cables, transformers and busbars. Transformers and compensation coils within the differential protection zone are protected by means of integrated functions, which were previously to be found only in transformer differential protection. It is also well-suited for complex applications such as series and parallel compensation of lines and cables.
It is designed to provide protection for all voltage levels and types of networks; two line ends may lie within the protection zone. The relay features very high-speed and phase-selective short-circuit measurement. The unit is thus suitable for single-phase and three-phase fault clearance.

7PA22 and 7PA23 are fast-acting lockout relay with eight changeover contacts and four changeover contacts, respectively.

7PA30 single phase is for the supervision of the trip circuit of a circuit breaker with one trip coil. While 7PA30 three phase is for the supervision of the trip circuit of a circuit breaker with three selective trip coils.
The trip circuit wiring is supervised from the positive supply to the negative supply whilst the circuit breaker is open or closed.
The design, quality and rugged construction of the relay make it suitable for applications requiring high levels of reliability/dependability.
The high degree of protection guarantees reliable operation over a wide temperature range, even under extreme environmental conditions. The relay has been tested in accordance with IEC, EN and IEEE standards. The relay is CE marked.
