Flexible Shaft Machines supply new-found freedoms: By seperating the motor from the tool with a shaft, it is no longer necessary to bring a bulky tool to your workpiece. Instead, the motor can rest on the floor or hang from a nearby hook. As a result, it is no longer necessary to support the weight of the power tool while grinding. The handpieces are extremely small, and can reach into areas that are simply not accessible by any hand-held straight grinder. By placing the power source away from the application and out of view, users experience freedom from heat, noise and vibration from the power source.
Industrial flexible shaft tools are offered in several styles, from a small 500 watt machine with 120 volt right up to our high end Mammoth machine, which is 3-phase, 480 volt, 1 horsepower.

MP SERIES
MP Series manual polishers are targeted for different types of users, who have various grindind and polishing requirements. From small labs where the number of samples is not significant or the samples have different size and shape, to labs where grinding/polishing is made using many abrasive papers and many clothes, or labs where a large number of metallographic samples is produced, but the manual processing is preferred as it is considered the best way in terms of quality.
MP Series Manual Polishers are available in different versions: single or double wheel, 200-230 or 250-300 mm diameter, fixed or variable speed.

Grinders
Baldor's industrial quality, single and three phase, bench and pedestal grinders are available having wheel diameters of from 6 to 14 inches. This well known line also includes diamond wheel and carbide tool grinders and abrasive belt grinders. Some designs of the abrasive belt grinders are supplied with a three position tiltable belt. All these grinder products are backed by a three-year warranty.

Automatic Recessing Machine
Field of Application
The automatic CMU is designed for the precise and efficient grinding/polishing of concave and convex shaped parts (watch-jewels, industrial-jewels, lenses for watch glasses and wearing parts made out of hard materials such as sapphire, ruby, ceramics, tungsten carbide, etc.
Machine Description
The machine has up to three independent production units mounted on the same base. Each of these units is separately driven and controlled. They are centrally lubricated and supplied with coolant as well as vacuum required to automatically handle the parts. Each unit’s handling system uses two vacuum nozzles, one for loading and one for unloading.
An automatic parts measuring system and a tool-setting device checks each individual parts after machining and if required, adjusts the diamond tools wear (compensation). The diamond tool is a diamond grinding “pin” or “tube”.
The units operate automatically controlled by a cam shaft mechanism. It is a fully automatic process, including a parts counter – so to speak.

Precision carbide tool grinding and lapping machine
The BG-2 offers an ideal solution for the requirements of producing a large variety of carbide single point turning tools, as well as their maintenance by resharpening.
- Diamond-double-side rough and finish grinding and lapping wheels eliminate re-clamping of tools.
- Direct and accurate reading of angular setting facilitates extremely precise adjustment of tool holder to cutting angle.
- Micrometer infeed, combined with a sensitive reciprocating motion of the tool procedure perfect cutting faces and edges, while providing for long life of grinding and lapping wheels.
- Small Cutter Griding Attachment Free angular adjustment of the attachment permits round-shank tools including half round drills, flat drills, single and double tooth milling cutters, etc., to be ground round with the crank handle or flat with a reciprocating motion.
