Clinch studs are fastening elements which are clinched captive into formed sheet components. The results are sheet metal components ready for mounting. Clinch studs, therefore, are a reliable and economical weld screws, riveted or pressed-in bolts specifications. Large press-out forces and high torques are typical for this production technique.
The reduction of production stages and of energy consumption results in considerable cost savings. An additional advantage is the possibility of processing several clinch studs in a single stage. |

Our more than 36 years’ experience on the market for stainless steel professional fasteners is brought to bear with particular force in this product segment.
All of the articles with relevance to fastening technology – from the traditional screws and nuts in thousands of individual models, through washers, retaining rings and keys in many versions, right up to supplier of bolts, split pins and rivets in just as many variations – can be delivered.
Both the parts standardized in accordance with DIN or ISO and the non-standardized fastening elements (e.g. chipboard screws, mushroom head screws, washers) are available.
Stainless steel remains the material of choice for most of the Lederer customers. Hardly any other material can boast its defining properties, such as corrosion resistance, long lifespan and non-magnetizability. Whether it is a question of supplier of bolts with head or without, with one, two or more turned grooves, with or without pin hole, with or without thread - mbo has got most of them.
Of steel and stainless steel, in all sizes, immediately from stock. In particular the standardized DIN parts are available in practically all sizes from DIN 1433 to DIN 1445 and from DIN EN 22338 to DIN EN 22341. In diameters from 4 mm to 100 mm and in lengths from 20 mm to 200 mm. At mbo you can even get those DIN bolts which are no longer to be found in the official standard lists.

Threaded bolts specifications to DIN 1445 are available in standard or stainless-steel versions with diameters from 8mm to 20mm.
The best example of an ideal area of application is the supplier of conveyor belt. The seat of the roller bearing manufacturers is often secured with a stud bolt. There are good reasons for this. First of all a stud bolt is easy to install. It only needs to be secured on one side, for example, with a nut. Secondly it is absolutely free from twisting and in addition has smaller tolerances than its “smooth brothers“. This guarantees reliable guiding of the belts. |
