The construction of the double-stage VMT-compressors is based on our proven, single-stage compressor series VM.37.
The VMT-series is designed for oil-free conveyance of air and neutral gases and has already been used since 1970 for the industrial generation of compressed air.
For the diverse industrial ranges of compressed air technology the double-stage units were steadily adapted to the changing operation requirements and modified. Experience of more than 200 supplies has developed a compressor unit, which can convert nearly all special applications of compressed-air technology according to the customers' individual requirements. The VMT-compressors cover motor ratings from 90 to 1020 kW and differential pressures up to 10 bar. This series is available in water-cooled as well as air-cooled design. |

Pleated filtration media used in both coalescing prefilters and particulate afterfilters, offering 6 to 9 times the surface area found in "wrapped" or "depth-style" elements.
Coalescer liquid removal efficiency of 0.001 ppmw based on 20 ppmw challenge. Removes liquid aerosols down to 0.01 micron.
Particulate filters have a 100% absolute removal rating down to 0.9 micron.
Single element, aluminum housing design 35 to 1,200 scfm.

Offering exceptional performance levels in terms of efficiency, the units in the new series are able to exploit low ambient air temperature conditions whenever available - all year round. The new range, which extends the existing line of air conditioning units, has been specifically engineered to provide the exceptional reliability demanded in industrial application. Although the maximum saving in energy is obtained during continuous operation of the systems for 24 hours/day, chillers equipped with free-cooling allow very substantial power consumption savings even with short periods of operation, while also guaranteeing longer life expectancy and reduced maintenance requirements when compared to conventional chillers. The operating methods utilized guarantee energy savings typically in excess of 40% with respect to conventional units. |
