CEFILAIR®
When faced with the problem of sealing between parts which move in relation to one another and capable of being connected and disconnected at will, the easiest, safest and most effective technique is to use pneumatic seals.
“CEFILAIR®” seals, which are expanded and retracted by a pneumatic process, have been designed to meet these multiple applications. Within the scope of these types of seals, the “CEFILAIR®”, as a result of its patented design employing modern. |

These seals are designed to operate with tube testing machines that repeatedly seal and release the steel tube ends as part of the hydrostatic testing process. The quality of the seals used is a crucial factor in the reliability of such machines, and therefore our tube test seals offer the highest levels of performance.
Manufactured from high tensile, impact resistant polyurethane, they provide excellent wear resistance and can operature at high or low pressures. They incorporate a special lip profile to enable tube entry without seal damage. |
|
| Broad chemical resistance, except against liquid alkaline metals and fluorine gas under pressure. Good sliding qualities, low wear and tear. Temperature range from -200 °C to +260°C. PTFE has hardness of approximately 95 °Shore and installing these O-rings in split grooves is recommended or alternatively the use slit or sheathed types due to the low elasticity. |
|

| We supply a wide range of highly reliable end face seals (V-rings). These flexible lip seals fit on a shaft and seal axially against a counter face - such as a roller bearing face or shaft collar. |
|
Chesterton’s GBS Seal protects better than a conventional lip seal. It installs without equipment modification, holds positive pressure and, unlike a lip seal, and will not damage the shaft.
GBS seals out virtually all external sources of contamination for maximum protection.
Break the cycle of downtime caused by lip seal related failures.
Keep all your equipment up and running without repetitive bearing failures. |
|
Chesterton’s 286 Tandem Bellows Seal geometry is designed for maximum safety and reliability.
The inboard seal is double balanced for high reliability in both higher and lower pressure barrier fluid environments.
The outboard bellows is OD pressurized for maximum safety and pressure capability.
The Chesterton 286 Dual Tandem Cartridge Bellows Seal uses a rugged proven bellows design for harsh chemical environments. It meets the most stringent requirements for sealing emissions, toxic, carcinogenic and other hazardous fluids. |
|
Chesterton’s 1210 Ceramic Stationary Seal Face may be used with 891 and 440 rotary seals to form a dual mechanical seal. The 891 is the inboard seal exposed to the process fluid. The 440 is the secondary (outboard) seal that seals barrier fluid to the atmosphere.
Can supply variable barrier pressure through the unit.
Shields the environment from the pumped fluid.
Provides a clean fluid to the inboard seal faces.
Can operate as a pre-installed "stand-by" seal in the event of primary seal maintenance. |
|
Chesterton’s 186HTA Single Cartridge High Temperature Metal Bellows seal designed to meet API requirements for greater seal reliability in the most demanding services.
Twelve (12) convolution bellows core versus the industry standard of nine (9).
Achieves maximum bellows plate thickness while not compromising the bellows spring rate, which means controlled spring rate, lower heat generation and greater seal reliability.
Proven nesting ripple bellows design:
In the nesting ripple design, all bellows plates are identical and contoured to permit nesting when compressed.
Nesting distributes pressure uniformly accross the span of the bellows - less stress at the bellows welds. |
|
180PR Pumping Ring Seal - High Capacity Pumping Ring Seal for Maximum Heat Rejection and Reliability.
Low Cost, Highly Efficient Cooling. Pumping ring circulates only stuffing box fluid in a closed loop cooling system reducing re-heat costs.
High Temperature Sealing with Standard Materials.
Chemical precipitation minimized. |
|
CHESTERTON’S 886HT High Temperature Single Bellows Seals are designed to easily replace OEM component seals in the most demanding services.
