2/2-way Angle Seat Valves DN 8-80
The Angle Seat Valve is composed of a 2/2 way Angle Seat valve body and a pneumatically operated piston actuator, which is mounted with a stainless steel adaption to the valve body. Depending on the size, the actuators are made out of plastic or aluminium. The plastic actuators are made out of a high temperature resistant plastic. A self-adjusting gland assures reliable tightness. The gland is protected against dust and damage by a wiper, which is located in front of the gland.
The SED Angle Seat Valve is suitable to separate, pilot, dose and control liquid orgaseous media. The Angle Seat Valve can be designed to specific requirements. In applications for control engineering optimized flow characteristics are achieved by reduced cv-values and equal percentage or linear characteristic curves. Even simple solutions like noise reduction are possible.

The variations in the actioning of the valve, the several combinations and the possibility to intercept the fluid from above or below the plug, originate multiple versions of the automatic valve.

On the basis of the kind of valve and the variations of pressure ∆P that must be intercepted, the necessary control pressure can be individuated, and consequently, the code for the corresponding valve.

VARIVENT® Single-seat Shut-off Valves are used for simple shutoff at flow path intersections within the pipe system. One seal is used on the one-part valve disk for shutting-off two pipes against each other. In case of sealing failure, controlled leakage drain is not provided.

Application:
Leakagefree double seat valves are used,
- wherever a positive isolation of two media must be guaranteed
- wherever operating leakage should be avoided especially for hygienic reasons or because of the product value
In particular, they are used
- where the seats of the upper disc and the lower disc have to be cleanable separately
- where even a pressure hammer must keep the valve mixproof
- where a pressure increase (e.g. through temperature expansion of locked-in liquid) must not lead into a malfunction of the valve

VARIVENT® double-seal valves type C have a one-part valve disk with a double seal. They are used for mixproof separation of incompatible media at flow path intersections within the pipe system. Double seal valves are the economical alternative to the generally used double-seat valves. The valve`s isolation chamber is equipped with two rinsing valves which are provided for leakage detection and cleaning of the isolation chamber itself. It is possible to clean the isolation chamber both separately and during pipe cleaning.
