Kavlico's P250/P251 series of pressure transducers incorporate a stainless steel isolation diaphragm and all welded construction to withstand harsh industrial environments. Pressure ranges from 6 to 400 Bar or 100 to 5,000 PSI can be measured using a 5V power supply. The transducer provides a ratiometric 0.5 - 4.5V output proportional to applied pressure. The P250 is specified with pressure ranges measured in Bar and the P251 pressure ranges are measured in PSI. The rugged construction of the P250 allows it to be used safely in environments with large over-pressure spikes. The stainless steel diaphragm is compatible with most industrial fluids and gasious media.

The Millivolt Output pressure sensors is based upon a proprietary technology to reduce all output offset or common mode errors. This model provides a calibrated millivolt output with superior output offset characteristics. Output offset errors due to change in temperature, stability to warm-up, stability to long time period, and position sensitivity are all significantly reduced when compared to conventional compensation methods. In addition the sensor utilizes a silicon, micromachined, stress concentration enhanced structure to provide a very linear output to measured pressure.
These calibrated and temperature compensated sensors give an accurate and stable output over a wide temperature range. This series is intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids such as air, dry gases and the like.
The output of the device is ratiometric to the supply voltage and operation from any D.C. supply voltage up to +16 V is acceptable.
Pressure Response: for any pressure applied the response time to get to 90% of pressure applied is typically less than 100 µs.
All parameters are measured at 12.0 volt excitation, for the nominal full scale pressure and room temperature unless otherwise specified. Pressure measurements are with positive pressure applied to port B.

The Series 8 pressure sensors are extremely durable, even when exposed to fast pressure peaks. They have been developed especially for the measurement of high pressures. The Series 8 sensor for ranges 400…1000 bar uses a thicker glass feed through and a wire-bonded measuring cell.
A high-sensitivity piezoresistive silicon chip is used for pressure sensing. The chip is protected against ambient influences by a stainless steel housing sealed with a concentrically corrugated diaphragm. The housing is filled with silicone oil for the transfer of the pressure from the diaphragm to the sensing component.
All metal parts in contact with the pressure media are made of stainless steel AISI 316 L. The fully welded housing is vacuum-tight. The connecting pins allow direct PCB mounting or can be used for connecting cables.
Typical applications: Industrial processes, aviation electronics, servo controls, oil industry, robotics
