Electronic pressure sensors are used to measure pressures in hydraulic systems. Function and design depend on the particular operating conditions. In order to meet these operational requirements, HYDAC offers a wide range of products from miniature pressure transmitters to customised multi-channel pressure switches.
Pressure transmitters detect the pressure and convert this into a proportional output signal.
Electronic pressure switches detect the pressure and switch a signal according to the pre-set parameters.

General description:
The DP3 series of pressure sensors offers a high-resolution, high-speed, and high-accuracy solution for all of your pressure sensing needs. A 2.5ms response time is achieved with excellent repeatability and temperature characteristics. A 10mm red LED display allows for good visibility in bright and dim ambient conditions. Simple key setup allows for quick initialization and threshold value settings. The display can be changed between six pressure units, allowing flexibility in many applications. The DP3 series incorporates 2 comparative outputs (NPN or PNP) as well as one analog output.
Several integrated output modes allow for enhanced usability:
- Hysteresis Mode
Offers free-range hystersis control for optimal hysteresis setting.
- Window Comparator Mode
This output mode provides a user determined pressure window in which the output is either ON or OFF. This is perfect for applications in which there are high and low pressure limits.
- Leak Test Mode
Utilizes both outputs to offer stable leak detection in applications such as bottle manufacturing.

Pressure sensors for general application, for gauge pressure, accuracy 0.25% and 0.5%
Pressure sensors for general application are top of the range pressure transducers.
Their accuracy, reliability, resistance to corrosion and mechanical load make them suitable for all pressure measuring tasks - in production, development or in the laboratory.
The measuring ranges, graded in accordance with EN, range from 25 mbar to the maximum pressure range of 4000 bar. The case and wetted parts comprise stainless steel and are thus resistant to chemically aggressive media. The pressure connection and measuring element are welded together, making the measuring system particularly resistant to mechanical shock or vibration.
For more difficult measuring tasks (e.g. hydrostatic column), two potentiometers enable the zero point and measuring range to be set.
The pressure sensors for general application meet the electronic magnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements to EN 61 326.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The VacuMini is a commercial version of Televac's highly successful NASA 2A sensor. VacuMini uses the same principle of operation as all Televac type 2A thermocouple sensors. It is roughly 1/2 the size and volume of traditional vacuum thermocouple sensors. A machined 304 stainless body is designed with 1/8" NPT connection threads and integral wrench flats for ease of installation. Unlike traditional vacuum thermocouple sensors which have exposed electrical pins, VacuMini's pins are protected in two ways. They are recessed within the sensor body diameter and a tethered and gasketed military type screw-on weather cap isolates the pins from moisture and dirt. The VacuMini will operate in any physical orientation. We do suggest you consider using one of our filters in the event your vacuum vessel or process contains excessive particulates or contaminates.
PRODUCT APPLICATIONS
The VacuMini is ideally suited to applications where the vacuum vessel is located outdoors or in a physical environment that renders use of traditional thermocouple sensors impractical. Examples of such applications include:
- Fixed & mobile bulk cryogenic storage and transport vessels.
- Vacuum jacketed gas delivery manifolds.
- Mechanical vacuum pumps and blowers.
- House vacuum systems

wireless sensor VUR
The air pressure sensors with UHF radio transmission are used as an alternative to cable-connected sensors in brake test stands.
The air pressure sensors work according to the principle of pressure force measurement on a membrane with wire strain gauge (DMS). In the transmission unit, the electric measuring signal is amplified, converted and transmitted to the receiver by radio. The transmission modules are battery-operated and of a hand-held design. The receiver decodes and converts the original sensor measuring signal as current output. The radio transmission works at ISM frequencies free of charge in the 70 cm range (433,1 - 434,7 MHz). Crystal-stabilised transmitter and receiver modules allow for a parallel operation of several channels. The range of more than 50 m ensures the operation in the workshop area.
The measuring frequency of the pressure sensor is ca. 100 Hz. The real parallel operation of the individual radio channels at different radio frequencies ensures a high scanning rate for all measuring channels.

If Machine Pressure is Important to you, We've Got Your Sensor System
GE supplies special-purpose pressure transducer solutions for use in applications such as combustor instability ("humming") detection on gas turbines, cylinder performance characteristics (P-V curves, rod compression/tension, suction/discharge pressure, etc.) on reciprocating compressors, and early warning of seal failures on process pumps by monitoring pressure across the seal face. These applications requires a transducer specifically designed for the pressures, temperatures, and cyclic stresses encountered in such harsh environments while delivering reliable machinery information.
