The PS 30 is a PCI-PC control card consisting of a plug-in card and a card for slot panel mount. Three axes with 2-phase step motors or brush DC servo motors can be operated (mixed equipment). Each axis has two inputs for incremental encoder or position measuring system. Thus, very precise positioning in closed loop mode is possible for all drive systems. Step motors can be operated from full step up to 256 micro steps per full step.
The PS 30 is operated and programmed by a PC. Point-to-point positioning mode with different velocity profiles as well as complex continuous path control like circular interpolation or 3-axes linear interpolation are possible.
Part of the delivery is a 3-fold motor adapter cable and also the software tool OWISoft for comfortable configuration and operation of the PS 30.

4 axis DC motors driver (Board for 4 axis DC motors)
Often to move an axis, extreme dynamic performances aren’t required so a DC motor with brushes could represent the best compromise for:
• Torque’s output linearity
• Positioning accuracy
• Dimensions
• Motor and driver’s low cost
Tex Computer’s multiplex driver can interface quickly any of our controller through Pwm signals on a connector for a 26 pin cable. Each of the 4 power stages with implemented Mosfet are protected from short circuits and capable to start motors with power up to 600 W per axis |

| The PIC-SERVO SC Motion Control Board is maybe the fastest and lowest-cost way of getting your DC servo motor up and running. The clear, explicit documentation and the Windows test utility program take the mystery out of servo motor control. The board is designed for easily adding additional axes of control without flipping dip switches or setting jumpers. By mounting these compact, modular boards near your motors, you can greatly simplify the rat's nest of wiring which plagues most multi-axis control systems. |

The PCI 208 is based on a 120Mhz 32-bit floating point DSP supported by 8Mbits of SRAM, 32 Mbits of Flash memory and 128kbits of dual port RAM for PCI communications. A large FPGA provides for up to 8 stepper axes, or 8 axes with encoder feedback, or mixtures of the two, or up to 4 stepper axes with encoder verification. For +/-10v input servo drives an optional mezzanine board provides 16 bit resolution voltage outputs and analogue inputs. A DIN rail mounting break-out board eases the wiring interconnections for low-volume applications.
The PCI 208 is designed for motion control applications centred around a PC. Application programs written on the PC can access its facilities easily using an OCX component. It is also possible to run application programs on the PCI 208 in multi-tasking BASIC language or to use both programming techniques. Trio's Motion Perfect development software can be used to monitor the execution of programs, IO and motion. Complex motion such as cams, gears, linked axes, and interpolation is made easy with the comprehensive command set. The PCI208 has 20 opto-isolated digital 24v inputs and 10 opto-isolated outputs. The inputs can be used as high-speed hardware registration inputs for highly accurate control of print and packaging lines.
The I/O count can be expanded using Trio CANbus digital and analog modules. The PCI208 has 2 built-in CAN channels for I/O and axis control.
The basic PCI 208 has 2 stepper axes. The axis count can be increased in single axis steps up to 8. A P184 or P185 DAC board is required for analog output servo operation. |

JetWeb makes interface-free integration of motion systems possible - from simple point-to-point positioning to complex contouring control system. As a user, you will only need one development environment and one programming language for both the control and motion system, regardless of whether stepper or servo motors are being used. Powerful, high-level instructions for all motion functions simplify programming. An uncomplicated motion user-interface make commissioning and service much easier.
JetMove represents a powerful and compact family of motion systems. Due to interface-free integration into Jetter control systems, the highest possible flexibility and simplicity is achieved. JetMove motion controllers can handle asynchronous drives, synchronous drives and / or linear motors. The drive family covers rated currents ranging from 1.5 A through 70 A.
Depending on the individual field of application, motion systems will have to fulfil the most varied tasks. For these tasks, Jetter AG provides a broad spectrum of motors. For all motors, starting from mini-size motors of 0.03 Nm up to motors of 115 Nm, a complete series of motion packages can be provided. |

Force Control Industries, Inc. entered into the controls business in 1994 when it became apparent that many of the clutch/brake positioning problems associated with the Posidyne® clutch/brake were actually related to the controls, and not the fault of the clutch/brake. Many systems were built around a PLC, and scan time caused variable delays in the signal timing causing positioning errors. As the speeds increased, response became more and more critical, and millisecond variables caused unacceptable positioning errors.
The Posidyne® clutch/brake was often picked in critical positioning applications because of it's stopping consistency, however there were still position errors. The cold start to hot run change was most prevalent, as it is in all clutch/brakes. Many times the stop position flag would have to be adjusted after r unning for awhile, and if the machine was shut down for awhile, it may have to be readjusted again.
Positioning errors could also be caused by changes in temperature, speed, actuation pressure, or many other variables.
Force Control Industries, Inc. built the first control by buying components and installing into a box. This solved the scan time problem, but still left the adjustment needed due to other variables. A commitment was made by management to take a clean sheet of paper, and design and build a control that would not only solve the scan time problem, but would continuously self adjust to compensate for all of the other variables that affect clutch/brake drives. |
