Galil's AMP-19540 is a 4-axis amplifier for driving brush or brushless motors up to 500 Watts. By interfacing directly to Galil's DMC-18x2, DMC-18x0, or DMC-18x6 controllers, it provides a cost-effective controller/drive solution for multi-axis applications. The AMP-19540 contains four transconductance, PWM amplifiers for driving brush or brushless motors. Each amplifier operates at 18V to 80V dc, up to 7 Amps continuous, 10 Amps peak. The AMP-19540 gain setting is easily configured with jumpers. The PWM switching frequency is 60 kHz.
The AMP-19540 enclosure has dimensions of 6.8" x 8.75" x 1". It interfaces to Galil's DMC-18xx PCI bus controller with a single, 100-pin high density SCSI cable. Signals for each axis are brought out through D-type connectors located on the AMP-19540. For applications with less than three axes, the AMP-19520 two-axis model is available. A shunt regulator option is also available.

JetWeb makes interface-free integration of motion systems possible - from simple point-to-point positioning to complex contouring control system. As a user, you will only need one development environment and one programming language for both the control and motion system, regardless of whether stepper or servo motors are being used. Powerful, high-level instructions for all motion functions simplify programming. An uncomplicated motion user-interface make commissioning and service much easier.
JetMove represents a powerful and compact family of motion systems. Due to interface-free integration into Jetter control systems, the highest possible flexibility and simplicity is achieved. JetMove motion controllers can handle asynchronous drives, synchronous drives and / or linear motors. The drive family covers rated currents ranging from 1.5 A through 70 A.
Depending on the individual field of application, motion systems will have to fulfil the most varied tasks. For these tasks, Jetter AG provides a broad spectrum of motors. For all motors, starting from mini-size motors of 0.03 Nm up to motors of 115 Nm, a complete series of motion packages can be provided.

Yaskawa Sigma and LEGEND servo amplifiers have all-digital architecture with 32-bit microprocessor logic, high speed ASIC current-loop control, and IGBT power sections.
All Sigma and LEGEND amplifiers have serial encoder feedback with automatic motor recognition, expansion ports for addition of single-axis controls and network interfaces, separate main and control power connections, scalable encoder retransmission, sine-coded PWM output waveforms, full thermal overload protection of the motor, and UL, CE, and TUV certifications. Where required, Yaskawa amplifiers have built-in regenerative and dynamic brake resistors.
Yaskawa amplifiers are matched with Sigma motors with high-resolution serial encoder feedback to provide low velocity ripple and speed loop bandwidths exceeding 400 hz. These features allow very smoth motion at low speed, higher load-to-rotor inertia rations, and decreased setting time.

Deciding whether to use a digital drive or an analog drive really depends on what you need the drive to do. If you already have an intelligent controller that can handle events and it has enough I/O then either will work for your system. If your controller has limitations then a digital drive may be able to make up for them.

The AB4 amplifier offers the same performance as the AB1A, in a reduced package. The AB4 operates off of 12Vdc supply input and can drive up to 4 HR motor elements total, either 1 x 4 element HR motor, or multiple HR motors totaling 4 elements. The AB4 is the smallest standard motor amplifier and is provided with a 26-pin rear connector (26 pin, two row header). This connector provides access to all functionality (motor, power inputs, limits, and I/O functions), making it easy to integrate. Additional motor and power inputs are available with standard connections on the front.

PMA90/180 Servo Amplifier
The PMA 90/180 Servo Amplifier has the ability to control either brushed or brushless motors all in one. The 40kHz PWM frequency is double that of most conventional drives, and enables direct connection to PML motors without an external choke.
The compact design and small footprint also saves valuable space. The drives are easy to set up whehter used stand alone or with digital motion controllers.
Features include amplifier enable and direction enable inputs (for connection to limit switches), full motor/drive protection, and potentiometer operation as an on-board full range reference signal.
Input gain, loop gain, offset parameters, component carrier and mode switches are adjustable. Configurable peak and continuous current limits allow high acceleration without sacrificing protection against continuous overloads. Peak current time can be adjusted from 50ms to 3 sec.
