RMC70 Hardware:
The RMC70 is a modular controller. The Base module - consisting of the CPU and the Axis module - is factory-configured. Each factory-installed Axis module is available with one or two control axis interfaces. Up to 4 expansion modules may be added to the RMC70, including digital I/O, analog reference and pressure or force inputs.

The RMC100 Series is Delta's most versatile motion control product line. With two main CPU options-the RMC100 or the new RMC150E-the RMC100 Series is a modular, high-performance motion controller appropriate for a wide range of industrial applications for position and velocity control. The RMC101 and RMC151E CPUs provide all the benefits of the RMC100 and RMC150E, plus dual-loop control for advanced control options, such as position-pressure, position-force, and active damping.
A variety of communications options makes these compact, DIN rail-mounted controllers an excellent choice for large and small systems.
The RMC's modular construction allows you to mix and match from two to eight axes of any combination of transducers. Delta will factory configure your complete RMC100 Series motion control module.

The POSYS® 3104 (Designed & Made in Germany) is a PC/104 form factor board dedicated to high performance motion control applications with extensive interpolation functionality. The POSYS® 3104 is designed to control up to 4 axes of servo and stepper motors and provides hardware linear, circular, Bit Pattern and continuous interpolation which allow to perform the most complex motion profiles. Update rates per axis do not exist as each axis runs in absolute real-time mode simultaneously which makes these boards to one of the best performing motion controllers for up to 4 axes in the market.
The POSYS® 3104 is a low-cost PC104 motion controller offering a wide range of possibilities. The controller is dedicated to pulse & direction output which allows to control any type of motor provided the driver/amplifier is capable to accept pulse & direction signals. Many amplifiers on the market exist for this purpose (we supply versions from AMC) which can even be configured for either brushed or brushless servo motors.
The usage of one controller type throughout the system, but still keeping it open for various motor types, depending on your customer's demands, enhances this controller to be your first choice. Software written for this controller does not need to be re-written again. Time-to-market design is done once. Equip your machine with steppers or servos or combine them to any configuration you desire.
Due to its possibilities there are practically no limitations to where this controller can be used. Robotics, semi-conductor, medical and harsh industrial environments - where ever you need precise control of your motors the POSYS® 3104 is ready.

The POSYS® 800-B (Designed & Made in Germany) is a state-of-the-art 1 to 4 axes PC/104-Bus motion controller supporting multiple host connection modes and motor types. The POSYS® 800-B supports parallel-bus via PC/104-Bus and serial communication RS232. Motor types supported are DC brushed servo, brushless servo, microstepping and stepper motors depending on model each axis individually configurable. Other features are the fast servo loop update rates of 100 µs/1 axis to 400 µsec/4 axes, 5 Mcounts/sec quadrature encoder input and on-board trace capabilities.
Motion profiles include S-curve, trapezoidal (with smoothing factor), velocity contouring, and electronic gearing, linear interpolation for 4 axes. In addition they also support external profile mode which allows the user to download complex motion profiles directly in to the controllers memory reliefing the host from extensive calculation tasks.
With up to 164 commands, depending on model, the POSYS® instruction set offers flexibility and versatility to software application programmers. Instructions are used to initialize and control the motion processor. User selectable profiling modes supported by the motion processor include S-curve, trapezoidal, velocity contouring and electronic gearing. The POSYS® 8xx-B accepts input parameters such as position, velocity, and acceleration from the host and generates a corresponding trajectory. The Dytran pressure sensor model 2180C is a high intensity acoustic sensor ideal for measurements involving gas turbine combustor dynamics. It features a top TNC electrical connector, a 1-1/8-12 mounting thread, and a stainless steel diaphragm. The 2180C has a charge sensitivity of 700pC/psi and a range of 10 psi (191dB). Endevco® Model 2222C is the industry's best selling minature piezoelectric accelerometer, for vibration measurement on small electronics, consumer products, and mini or delicate structures. Its very low weight (0.5 gm without cable) effectively minimizes mass loading effects to the test structure. accelerometer is a self-generating device that requires no external power source for operation.
Model 2222C features Endevco’s Piezite® Type P-8 crystal element, operating in the radial shear mode. This sensor exhibits excellent output sensitivity stability over time. Signal ground is isolated from the mounting surface of the unit by a hard anodized surface. A specially designed low noise coaxial cable is supplied for error-free operation. Unit and cable removal tools are included in the package to ensure proper removal in the field.
