The new, revolutionary Torque range of rare earth, brushless servo motors is base on a novel, multi polar magnetic design, resulting in a high torque, ultra short servo motor particularly suitable for direct drive applications.
The Ultract T motor is mechanically compatible (flange and shaft) with equivalent torque servo motors but the overall lenght and mass is about 1/3rd of that required with a conventional design.
The shaft and front flange are particularly accurate and robust for direct load coupling. The motors are IP 65 protected (except the shaft) and are supplied with MS connectors.
The lamination free winding is shielded and double isolated fot EMC control; the winding capacitance is not coupled to the frame.
Built-in feedback sensor choice:
Multiturn, absolute magnetic encoder with 17 bit resolution + 4096 turns with serial ENDAT interface
resolver for low cost and basic performance applications.
ENDAT based units are supplied with electronic nameplate for auto setting with all Phase Motion Control drives. The thermal sensing system

The IG series DC brushless three-phase servomotor delivers high continuous torque in a cost reduced package.
The increased torque is the result of eight magnetic poles on the rotor compared to the traditional four magnetic poles. This design uses neodymium magnets for maximum performance. The IG series has an open-lamination design reducing cost. This series come with NEMA standard flanges size 17, 23, 34, and 42 with continuous torque rating from 25 to 820 oz-in (0.18 to 5.80 Nm).
An optical encoder having A, B and C encoder tracks and uvw commutation tracks comes standard with the servomotor. Encoder resolutions available are 500, 1000, 2000, 2048, 4096, and 8192 ppr (pulse per revolution).
The servomotor is designed with a 40 in (101.6 cm) shielded/grounded power and encoder cable extending from the rear of the servomotor for fitting into those tight locations.
Both IP 40 and IP 65 are available for the environmental rating. All models are available with gear heads.
The motors are available with and without a build-in holding brake. The motor length and specifications would vary if a servomotor with a brake is chosen.

Motors:
The servomotors series ADT-L and ADT-K are "brushless DC motors", electronically commutated synchronous motors for applications requiring high dynamic and accuracy as well as compact dimensions. NdFeb permanent magnets have been applied onto the rotor of the 6-pole-motor. These highly remanent magnets feature strong magnetic flux resulting in a very impressive dynamic while achieving a very compact design of the motor. The stator incorporates three-phase windings in "star connection". The commutation and the sinusoidal current control is performed by a servo control amplifier using resolver signals of the motor. Encoder feedback is optional.
The maximum winding temperature is monitored by sensors. Standard is a thermal switch; PTC or NTC sensors are optional. The standard winding layout fits for bus voltage 320 VDC and 560 VDC, however special windings are available on request. One socket connects the windings and the brake; a second socket interfaces the resolver signals.
Depending on the space available the long or the short version of the motor can be chosen.

Black Panther Servo
A new Milestone in the History of Servo-Motors
The family of brushless AC-Servomotors manufactured by Groschopp AG are now complemented by the new King-class of High-End-Servomotors.
By applying the most modern analytical and numerical calculation- and simulation systems, a new generation of High-End-Servomotors was developed:
The Servomotor Black Panther
In combination with a new production technology, a 2- to 3-times higher power density was achieved compared with common High-End-Servomotors through a revolutionary new development of active core elements (stator, rotor, magnets).
The development of a special magnetic rotor made it possible to align the magnet segments without additional strapping. Furthermore, by choosing an optimal ratio between the number of slots and the number of poles, a new winding technique (concentrated winding) was implemented. All of the above not only led to a marked increase in motor performance, but also enabled a very process-safe, cost-saving and fully automated production.

Utilising the most advanced concentrated winding techniques and latest technology, these brushless servo motors are among the most compact on the market.
Mitsubishi Servo Motors are made to high standards and offer a wide range of power, speed and inertia ratings providing a motor for all applications. Ranging from 50W through to 55kW and with specialist type motors available (flat “pancake”motors) the new Super Series Servo Motors complete the line-up of products offered by Mitsubishi Electric.
Also, all motors in the Mitsubishi Super Series are fitted with absolute encoders as standard. Therefore, an absolute system can be created by simply providing power to Servo amplifier via a battery. Once this has been done the super capacitor inside the motor and back-up battery allow the Servo motor position to be constantly monitored, even when disconnected from the system.

By definition, mechatronic systems control physical processes by goal-directed motions which are calculated by an intelligent control system drawing information from its environment. SONCEBOZ mechatronic systems therefore typically consist of step motors or linear actuators with integrated processor control and power electronics. The systems have interfaces for control and sensor signals and in specific applications they are also coupled via data busses such as CAN, RS 485 etc. into communications networks. The compact standard products in the form of Top Drive hybrid step motors with integrated power electronics and pulse/direction interfaces are used wherever low dimensions, low running noise and simplified cabling plus rapid operational availability are required.

Integrated drives ILA consist of a motor and control electronics. The drives are controlled via a fieldbus or a pulse interface. ILA are used as decentralised drives in machine and automation applications. In connection with a motion controller or a PLC, complex automation tasks can be performed in a simple and cost-effective way. Complete function modules are available for easy motion programming with a Schneider Electric motion controller.
|
|
|
These Servo drives can be installed outside the control cabinets and directly next to the machine processes. This leads to new possibilities for decentralised plant concepts. Thus, costs can be reduced considerably. The Servo Drives 930 fluxxtorque operate very precisely in the power range from 140 to 650 W. Their design is compact, they can easily be cleaned and quickly installed.

Standard shaft technology. To avoid the traditional dichotomy between key- smooth shaft applications, Phase Motion Control releases the new standard shaft in which a key seat is filled with an insert (photo below) and the whole set is ground to shaft tolerance. The shaft is therefore round and ready for clamping with conical hubs (recommended). If a key is required (and the corresponding reduced servo performance is accepted) the insert can be removed and a standard key inserted. All shafts are balanced with the insert so that simple rotating parts (e.g. pulleys, gears) need not to be balanced.
Safety brake: All motors except UL 071040 have an internal cavity where the PM safety brake can be mounted. The brakes are all rare earth permanent magnet type. This new high power density brake operates without brake pads. As a consequence, the problem of pollution of the motor cavity when the brake is operated incorrectly is avoided.
Additional inertia: an extra flywheel can be introduced in the brake cavity to compensate for poor mechanical linkages between the motor and the load.
Single piece extruded frame, smooth, with O-rings on all couplings and IP 65 protection to allow flushing and sterilization in food and chemical applications
Standard circular connectors, turnable 270 degrees, standard high flexibility cables available;
Oversized front bearings improves bearing life by 70%; 28 mm shaft available on request
Peak speed 4000 rpm on standard type
