Sweco vibro-energy round separators are versatile and can be customized to meet your needs. We offer a variety of round separators including the Sanitary, Avalanche and Low Profile. Sweco round separators can handle a broad range of materials - wet or dry, fine or coarse, heavy or light. Particles as fine as 400 mesh (38 µm) can be screened with up to 4 screen decks incorporated in one Sweco separator.
Sweco round separators offer 4 different separation processes: 1.Sizing for dry products such as sugar, spices and salt. 2. Scalping for dry materials such as powdered milk, chocolate powder and detergent. 3. Gravity Filtering/Product Recovery for solid/liquid mixtures such as fruit juice, pulp and paper and paint. 4. Sweco's PharmASep is a fully contained Vibro-Energy Filter/Dryer suitable for aseptic processes in the pharmaceutical industry. With a design that eliminates gaps, crevices and hidden areas, the PharmASep proves valuable to those processes handling potent and/or toxic substances where containment is an important issue.
The PharmASep allows batch processing of up to 15kg of solids as well as continuous processing in pilot plants and full production environments. For both wet and dry processes, the sealed pressure vessel delivers high yield product recovery while containing potent pharmaceuticals for safer handling. Unique Vibro-DryTM Technology, developed by Sweco, allows vacuum drying to occur within the PharmASep while the product is gently tumbled on the screen surface, accelerating the drying process and reducing formation of agglomerates.
The PharmASep, with clean-in-place and steam-in-place capabilities, enables users to properly clean the machine without the need to disassemble and re-assemble, reducing downtime and ultimately increasing productivity. In the case of wet sieving, the PharmASep can dewater the product on the screen, apply vacuum, dry and discharge the dried product, eliminating the necessity for separate vacuum drying. |

The most common elements of downtime have been engineered out of the Sweco rectangular, providing a nonstop operation. New technology adapts ultra-fine screen mesh for use in rectangular high-capacity separators (36 ft.2), yielding benefits previously found only on small circular screens. Fine-mesh screen panels can be installed in five minutes without tools on some models. Our simple patented drive mechanism has 3 motors rather than a complicated and expensive 3 shaft design. Sweco rectangulars are capable of high G-forces for improved solids conveyance and are easily adaptable to Clean in Place spraying systems.
Other features of Sweco rectangular separators include an "off-the-shelf" motor which provides reliable power; isolated mount suspension that virtually eliminates transmitted vibration; and a rear basket feed inlet with an internal baffle system that uniformly distributes flow to the screen bed. Vibrowest low profile circular sieve MSC model has central outlet and is designed for control sieving.
It segregates granular products, powder and liquid into various particle sizes ranging from 51 mm to 0,033 mm (33 microns).
It is assembled with two imbalanced-weight motors on opposite sides of the exterior lower deck. It allow the bottom outlet to be positioned directly below the top inlet, minimizes height requirement and enable material to fall vertically through the screens at high rates.
Standard model range in diameter size from 440 mm to 1.800 mm.
Screens are easy and fast to change and can be equipped with various cleaning system as: rubber balls, kleeners and the innovative ultrasonic cleaning system.

MR round vibratory separator segregates solids from liquids or dry material into various particle sizes ranging from 51 mm to 0,033 mm (400 mesh)

The vibration develop in the horizontal and in the vertical plane and can be settled in both directions.
Vibration is accomplished by eccentric weights positioned on fly wheels assembled on the upper and lower ends of the motion generator shaft.
Upper fly wheel displacement creates the vibration in the horizontal plane, which moves the material from the center to the peripheral perimeter of the screen. Lower fly wheel displacement acts causing the vibration in the vertical as well as tangential plane.
Shifting the counterweights on the fly wheel is rapid and tool free. Allows to modify the vibration and find the best way to sieve a product. It follows an high screening efficiency both with liquid and solid products.

The task of a suction line accumulator is to protect the compressor from so called liquid hammers, which can be caused by the carry over of liquid refrigerant.

Spektrum colour separation systems are designed for the glass recycling industry to remove off-colours from glass cullet. The material to be inspected is spread out on an external feeder and reaches the glass slide where the pieces are further individualised before continuing into the inspection area of the CCD linear camera. If an off-colour contaminant is detected its exact location is determined. Electronics evaluate this position and ejection nozzles are activated with pinpoint accuracy and at precisely the right time to blow out the contaminant. The ejection nozzles are so precise that the contaminant is removed with very little loss of cullet. The rest of the cullet then continues along the conveyor. |

Metex OPTI-MESH™ Mist Eliminators are available in a variety of styles and configurations designed to match your process. Styles range from very course or "open" mesh designs to very fine or tight mesh designs.
Mist eliminators maintain the integrity of the plant by capturing fugitive liquids and returning them to the process. Wire mesh mist eliminators are the most commonly used type. They have no moving parts and require little, if any, maintenance. They are available in a broad range of styles, sizes and shapes. Wire mesh mist eliminators are, made slightly oversized and compress to fit snugly into your vessel. This ensures that a good vapor seal is achieved. They can be made from just about any materials as monofilaments, multistrand or multifilament designs.
Wire mesh mist eliminators rely primarily on physical IMPACTION of the droplet onto a fine wire to remove liquid entrained in vapor streams. As the droplet approaches the wire, its momentum will keep it in a straight line than the vapor going around the wire. If the momentum is high enough, the droplet hits the wire, wets it and drains along the wire to where it encounters other collected liquids. |
