PA-3000 ICP® (IEPE) signal conditioner - Description
The PA 3000 is a portable 3-channel ICP® ( IEPE ) signal conditioner. It has 4mA/24V supplies for sensors with integrated amplifiers. For low level signal amplification it features three selectable gain ranges and individually selectable highpass- and lowpassfilters for all three channels. Indicators for sensor condition and signal overload further minimize the risk of handling errors. The integrated rechargeable battery ensures a long operating time and the unit may be charged and operated at the same time. It is also possible to control all settings via PC using RS-232 interace.
The PA 3000 has a durable aluminum housing and a membrane keypad withstanding dust and moisture.
The low noise, wide dynamic range and excellent accuracy make the PA 3000 an excellent choice for demanding measurement applications.
ICP® is a registered trademark of PCB Group, inc., Depew, New York |

Our AD-4541-V/I is a remarkable miniature device that seamlessly relays signals from a sensor to a PLC, chart recorder, servo instrument, etc. The AD-4541-V/1 converts an analog signal received from a bridge type sensor, such as a load cell, into a control output in the form of voltage (AD-4541-V / -2V to +2V) or current (AD-4541-I / 4-20mA). The AD-4541-V/I is easy to install since it is equipped with a DIN rail mounting feature and a spring clamp terminal block (no crimping terminal is necessary).
The AD-4541-V/I provides a wide-range zero adjustment (±1.6mV/V) / span adjustment (0.4~3.2mV/V) for use with various bridge type sensors. Calibration can be performed with the ZERO / SPAN volume controls or the CAL switch. The AD-4541-V/I uses a 24VDC power supply. |

| The SX500 system consists of programmable analog conditioners and filters that are used in computer-based measurement systems. The basic components of this system are the mainframe, a chassis housing the power supply and multi-pin cable connectors, and the filter and conditioning modules. Each of these components also has provisions to accept a variety of factory-installed options that can extend the capacities of the components or further determine specific functional attributes. The SX500 is a fully programmable system with communications via a RS-232/422 serial port. The below list introduces the available products. |

Your measurement is only as good as the signal path, so why compromise on signal conditioning? Genesis signal conditioners are daughter cards mounted integrally with the acquisition module in the same slot. This concept allows for future plans and expansions while maintaining the standardized feature set without compromise.
The basic amplifier signal conditioners give you 8 channels with single-ended or unbalanced differential, isolated inputs on one board. With 200 kS/s or 1 MS/s digitizing rate at 16-bit resolution, they are ideally suited for high definition transient recording.
The 200 kS/s and 1 MS/s bridge amplifier versions comprise everything that you would expect from LDS Nicolet. They offer isolated and differential inputs, high gain, and extremely good SNR even at the maximum 400 kHz bandwidth. Both versions come with on-board software, selectable shunt calibration and bridge completion resistors, a bridge wizard for error-free setup and fast auto balance.
The unique high-end universal amplifier serves a variety of needs, ranging from differential and/or isolated measurements to ICP®-based vibration or shunt-based current measurements. Apart from the differential mode, the amplifier supports any type of 'constant current' vibration and acceleration sensors. In "current mode", the built-in shunt can be used to measure up to 1 ampère in a safe, isolated and fused manner, without the need for external shunt resistors.
As a special input board, the binary marker input CT enables up to 64 "digital" channels to be recorded as well. This board can be used to record status signals from the process or test like high/low, open/closed or left/right. It also offers three counter/timer inputs to do frequency or RPM measurements as well as to record quadratur encoder signals.
A special variant of this board is the binary marker input HV. This is similar to the CT version, but offers fibre-optic isolated inputs and a fiber-optic SYNC line for use in HighPower/HighVoltage environments.
For ultra fast signals, the 25 MS/s and 100 MS/s fast digitizers are equipped with four channels sampling at an incredibly high speed. With selectable anti-aliasing filtering and 14- or 15-bit resolution, these inputs turn the Genesis into the fastest transient recorder ever seen. The fast digitizers are available in single-ended versions or with fully differential inputs.

The Vulcain 420I communicates digitally with Vulcain transmitters within a true daisy chain network, converting the transmitters’ digital signals to analog outputs. This allows each transmitter to provide a 4-20mA signal to a BMS from one central location. The unit can accommodate up to eight transmitters installed at distances of up to 2 000 feet from the unit.
To avoid expensive DDC hook-ups and BMS software upgrades, the unit even comes with internal logic that will provide averaging/minimum/maximum reading for up to 16 transmitters. |
