The Aeroflex Broadband Signal and Environment Generator (BSG) family provides the widest bandwidth and deepest memory RF/baseband signal sources available today. The BSG combines a very deep memory, very high-speed arbitrary waveform generator and a broadband RF up converter with powerful signal generation software.
The BSGs have bandwidths of up to 500 MHz and full bandwidth signal memory of up to 88 seconds into solid-state memory or 150 minutes from streaming RAID. The bandwidth, memory depth and dynamic range make the BSG a powerful tool for broadband satellite communications, frequency agile radio communications, broadband wireless network communications, and radar test. An open, software defined instrument architecture allows easy imports of user created waveforms. Vector Signal Simulator software (VSS) creates signal files for commercial wireless standards as well as generic nPSK, nQAM, nFSK, MSK, CW, tone combs, and notched noise signals. Any of these generic signal types can be gated or bursted in time, as well as hopped in frequency.

Model 725 Multi-Trigger Digital Delay Generator
Researchers and system integrators, needing controls and diagnostics for their experiments and systems, are regularly forced to build from scratch or to piece together several boxes. Many hours are spent learning the idiosyncrasies of each box and how to properly couple boxes to each other. Each box has its own programming protocol. Valuable time is lost to tracking connections, taming noisy signals, adjusting timing on multiple boxes and other aggravating chores. Now one box will eliminate much of this.
The Model 725 coordinates, integrates and synchronizes complicated setups, simply, reliably and affordably. Featuring eight timing channels with programmable logic, unique timing modes and 10 ns resolution, the Model 725 outperforms a rack full of instruments, specialized boxes, filters and cables. Inputs can be logic signals, switches, transducers, interlocks, computer commands and gauges. The model 725 can be programmed and controlled easily via Labview or Windows. It contains sophisticated logic, gating and filtering. It has eight inputs, eight outputs and eight separate timers.
The model 725%u2019s logic is engineered for fast data throughput (11 ns) and minimal throughput spread (~1 ns). It would be difficult to match this performance with external cabling and hard-wired logic.

Generating E- and H-fields orthogonally in a ratio and conformation typical of free space, the AT5000 adds a new and needed dimension to shielded room or anechoic chamber testing.
Essentially a 2.4 x 1 meter section of parallel conductor transmission line, the AT5000 offers the 377-ohm wave impedance of free space and extends the frequency range of field generators nearly two octaves - to 100 MHz.
The open area between conductors accommodates entire assemblies within the maximum field volume. Test items too large for insertion between the elements can be brought near the parallel conductors and radiated - the AT5000 easily rotates to any horizontal, vertical or diagonal position.
The AT5000M3 version comes with a special stand which allows rotation of the field generator in three axis as well as height adjustment. Rotation accommodates test items that can't fit between conductors.
