SICUBE®
DESCRIPTION
3-dimensional laser cutting technology.
SICUBE is a system that enables 5 and 6 axis continuous laser cutting machines to be operated automatically. When combined with SI[CAD], SICUBE enables three-dimensional model mathematics to be imported and modified or completely recreated. Here the term mathematics refers to shapes on which cutting paths can be generated.
By means of a high precision analysis of the surfaces and curves to be cut, the system decides the beginning and ending procedures and moves the laser cutting head to a perpendicular position above the relative points on the cutting path, defining the technological laser parameters on the basis of the work rules set by the user.
The program guarantees a risk free cutting path thanks to a monitoring module as well as specifically checking for possible collisions between the laser head and parts of the piece to be cut or any securing tools that may be used to hold the piece in place. A dynamic simulation of the workpiece, the securing system and the laser head including highlights of the 5-axis head rotation can also be viewed before the part program to be used is generated on the machine computer.
FEATURES
SICUBE consists of the following modules:
- SI[CAD]: 3D geometry
- Advanced modeller: surface modeller
- SICUT3: 5/6 axis laser cutting technology
- PostProcessor: ISO code generator

FeatureTURN/MILL provides several capabilities, including:
- Support for lathes with C and Y axis milling capabilities and sub-spindles.
- Drilling or milling features can be positioned on the face or on the OD of the part, and are easily programmed with the FeatureTURN/MILL feature wizard.
- FeatureTURN/MILL contains all the milling features of FeatureMILL2.5D, including holes, slots, pockets, grooves, sides and patterns.
- Milling features can be created on the OD and then wrapped around the lathe's Z-axis. This process takes the Y moves of a milling feature and translates them into C-axis rotations.

Kubotek, using its latest “Face Logic” and Pattern Recognition technologies, has created a program that allows the user to compare two models and generate detailed, multiple illustrated reports of the differences. The user can define the level of detail of the comparison, acceptable tolerance levels, and bases of comparison and then easily and quickly run the procedure. The user can compare on the basis of geometry, topology, entity, mass properties, tolerance and other information. On completion of the validation, the user may generate a report containing an encrypted signature to provide a validation certificate.
Validation Tool allows the user to see and document the mathematical differences of the comparison models. The process is very quick, taking from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on model complexity, and giving very precise results.
Kubotek Validation Tool comes as a standalone product, or the functions can be added to Kubotek’s KEYCREATOR products. The range of native and neutral file formats read is broad, covering most general customer requests. Kubotek is continuously developing the interoperability capabilities of its software products, increasing the quality and the quantity of translators available

Triad is best described as a middle ware. This software acts as a conduit that allows marking machines, vision equipment and existing data management to join in a common piece of software that manages all of the communications and auditing of the requested actions. The main artery of Triad is a security program that allows multiple levels of users to access the appropriate programs based off of their skill sets, training, or management function. This security program has auditing capability both internally and remotely. The core program can relay or link information to existing databases, for example for serial number control.
Within Triad is a series of programs that can be used as a tool box to solve a large array of modern marking programs. Each device that works with Triad is called a plug in. These plug in's can be made by Monode or by the company that owns the technology via a development kit - this flexibility allows rapid growth of compatibility within the Triad community. The key advantage of Triad being a manager of multiple programs through a centralized system is any major changes to the functionality of the core parent programs have immediately benefits to the devices that are compatible to the system. The power and complex functionality of Triad has a simple look to the end user called Gray Screen.

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
Shorter product development cycles are the primary driving force in manufacturing. Continuous innovation and change in designs require more and faster development of numerical control programs, molds, tools and dies required to manufacture the product. Rapid technology change is increasing the complexity of the tools and processes used in manufacturing, and new methodologies are breaking down the walls between design and manufacturing operations.
As the world leader in computer-aided manufacturing, Siemens PLM software helps companies meet the challenge with leading edge solutions. More than point solutions for discrete production tasks, the NX suite of manufacturing software links design and manufacturing to improve productivity throughout tooling and fixture design and NC machining processes.

PartMaker applies a Patented "divide and conquer" programming strategy to simplify the programming of Multi-Axis Turn-Mill Centers with live-tooling. The software helps the operator break a complicated part surface into a set of planes or faces. Machining tasks, such as turning, plane milling and cylinder milling are carried out separately for each face in an intuitive manner.
Visual programming assures quicker learning and easier use. PartMaker supports most Turn-Mill centers currently available including models from manufacturers such as Hardinge, Mazak, Mori-Seiki, Eurotech, Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura, Miyano, Okuma and others.
PartMaker/Turn-Mill performs a full set of lathe operations: facing, turning, grooving and threading. Operations being performed simultaneously by seperate turrets or on separate spindles can easily be synchronized by just pointing clicking. PartMaker generates edit-free G-code programs with "Wait" or "Sync" codes automatically inserted. Index Milling/Drilling on the end of the part and on the outside diameter are included among the product's standard components.
Additional Milling capabilities of the software can be ranked in the order of sophistication as following: Polar Milling with X Tool, Polar Milling with Z Tool and XZC Continuous Milling on a Cylindrical surface. Another option is XYZC Milling for machines equipped with the Y-axis.
PartMaker allows you to take full advantage of the full range of your machines capabilities. PartMaker will save you money by decreasing both programming and cycle times. It will also let you program more complex parts than you could without it.

MECANO Motion is a solver dedicated the analysis of flexible mechanisms.
MECANO Motion software is designed for numerical simulation of plane or 3-D flexible articulated systems. It is based on the finite-element concept and therefore accounts for strain effects within body elements. It allows to process the following physical problems:
Kinematic Analysis: Calculation of displacements, velocities and accelerations associated with the prescribed motion of driving degrees of freedom ;
Static or Kineto-Static Analysis: Calculation of forces in the given configuration, calculation of incremental static loading ;
Kineto-Dynamic Response: Determination of the motion and stresses within an articulated mechanism subjected to either given time dependent stresses or time variation of certain angles and/or driving displacements.

One of the most important strategies of today’s industrial enterprises consists in the transition from commissioned design to modular systems allowing the creation of customer-specific variants. By this means, internal reutilisation effects are generated enabling a reduction of variant diversity of up to 30% for the revision of existing products, and even up to 70% for the development of new products, which provides a substantial competitive advantage!
These saving potentials can even be increased further by the utilisation of product configurators. However, the realisation of such software solutions used to be rather expensive and time-consuming. These days are gone thanks to HELiCON, our innovative software tool that enables a convenient and affordable creation of product configurators even for smaller and medium-sized companies!
