The newly developed d.Blue manufacturing process creates a microscopic texture on the cell’s multi-crystalline silicon surface, reducing reflectance and maximizing the amount of sunlight the cell can absorb. The change is evident in the d.Blue module’s increased power output and “deep blue” color, which inspired its name.
Kyocera’s KC167G d.Blue module produces 167 watts of maximum power (7.2 amps and 23.2 volts under standard test conditions) in a form factor measuring 50.8” x 39” x 1.4” -- the same size as the company’s conventional 158-watt panel, the KC158G. The new KC125G d.Blue module produces 125 watts of maximum power (7.2 amps and 17.4 volts under standard test conditions) in a form factor measuring 56” x 25.7” x 2.0” – the same size as the conventional 120-watt module, the KC120-1. Both d.Blue modules feature “quick connect” output cables, and a heavy-duty box-style dark anodized aluminum frame. The d.Blue modules are covered by Kyocera’s 25-year power output warranty, are UL listed, and are approved by the California Energy Commission for its rebate program.

Measurement Computing today announced the release of three new 1-MHz, 16-bit multifunction USB data acquisition devices, and a cost-saving expansion module for high channel count applications. The USB-1616HS, the USB-1616HS-2, and the USB-1616HS-4 deliver outstanding performance with synchronous analog, digital, and frequency I/O in one compact package. The AI-EXP48 plug-in expansion module coupled with any of the USB-1616HS series modules can quadruple the analog input channel count.
The USB-1616HS series modules have a unique, low-latency control output mode, whereby any input—analog, digital, or counter, can control an output—digital, analog, or timer, based on pre-defined limits, including hysteresis. The outputs are controlled directly from the USB-1616HS series module, and do not require PC intervention. This results in response times that are measured in microseconds instead of milliseconds
The USB-1616HS series offers extensive trigger options, ranging from analog trigger with 1 µs max latency, to multichannel triggering, where any combination of analog, digital, and counter input channels can be combined to initiate the trigger. Other trigger modes include digital pattern, level, edge, inside/outside window, and pre- and post-trigger.

Unique Data Management Solution: 5000B Data Acquisition Unit
Secure, compact data recorder
Back of panel or wall mounting
Ideal for 21 CFR Part 11 applications
Remote data viewing and instrument configuration
The 5000B is a versatile solution for many data acquisition requirements. It is designed for maximum security of data and for flexibility. From simple data monitoring requirements to batch and validated processes, its security, communications and powerful visualization tools make it more than just a recording device. The compact unit can be wall or panel mounted and provide data in varying format to suit different department needs.
Secure data control
As data is sampled and logged in the 5000B, historical files are created in the 16Mbyte of internal Flash memory. The instrument can be configured to automatically pass these files over the network to a server for longer term archiving. In case of problems with the main server a secondary, back-up server can also be specified. The files are in a secure format to protect them from tampering. Review software is
supplied with the 5000B for reading of these files at a later date, and can be configured to automatically pull files from the 5000B and store them in its database.
