Directional valves direct the flow of fluid, at the desired time, to the point in a fluid power system where it will perform work.
These valves may be classified in several ways:

Normally open or closed solenoid options. Coils range from 12 VDC to 230 VAC coils.

With the FLUID TEAM block system "LRF" of the nominal sizes NG 6 and 10 can be developed very individual longitudinal linkages. Various modules with continuously (parallel and serial) load pressure reversal ("load Sensing") are available.

No Pressure Differential Design:
For maximum application flexibility these heavy duty solenoid valves have been designed so that no pressure differential is needed for them to operate reliably. Their unique design eliminates problems such as sticking and "chattering" due to system pressure differentials that can affect ordinary solenoid valves. And their performance is not effected by downstream restrictions caused by nozzles, flow meters or other equipment. This is a real benefit in these types of applications. The valve will operate with up to 40 PSI of backpressure and up to 120 PSI of inlet pressure. There are no minimum pressure requirements.
Normally Closed Operation:
When electric power is applied to the solenoid, the electromagnetic coil is energized, opening the valve. When the coil is de-energized, the valve closes.
Innovative Coil Design:
Unique in design, the valve coil rectifies AC current to DC current, resulting in lower coil operating temperatures than other plastic solenoid valves. This permits the coil to be rated for 100% continuous duty applications. Thus, the valve can be left in the open position indefinitely or it can be cycled continuously with no coil damage.
Unique Seal Cartridge:
Hayward Solenoid Valves feature an easy to replace seal cartridge. No fumbling with small parts and o-rings to replace worn seals. Just install the one-piece cartridge containing the plunger assembly and all of the seals.
Corrosion Resistant Coil:
The powerful coil assembly and electronics are completely encapsulated in a molded polyester housing, resistant to the harsh corrosive environments to which solenoid valves are often exposed.

With reference to rising energy costs RENNER frequency controlled compressors have proven to be the right choice. Particularly in those cases where the air consumption fluctuates but also for peak-load machines this system is the ideal solution to safe energy.
The output of the compressor is adapted to suit the actual air demand using the infinitely variable electronic speed control.

The Cloupressor: BOGE SLF
A frequency controlled screw compressor. By changing the speed of both motor and air end the SLF can operate the air end in its specifically optimum range and adapt the compressed air output to the actual needs. Expensive idling times and motor switches are avoided. At the same time a smaller pressure band can be set, also helping to save enrgy.
Special benefit: By adjusting the air end speed by frequency regulation not only the FAD can be adjusted but also the pressure value! Usual frequency controlled screw compressors only change the FAD at a certain given maximum pressure. Lowering the pressure value did not result in a higher FAD. But with the SLF adjusting the pressure value will at the same time result in an adjustment of the maximum possible FAD! This way a 13 bar model easily can be switched to an 8 bar model including the higher volume flow of an 8 bar machine. There are no alterings or constructive changes necessary. All pressure values can be served with one machine.
