SAFETY VALVES
This series of switch valves have been developed due to the safety level that Gas installations with Low, Average and High pressure require. Called SHUT %u2013 OFF, they get operational immediately when a electrical power %u2013 off is detected, making impossible to conect them automatically %u2013 requiring the oversight of a Technician. A review of the Gas System must be done and latter reassemble the valve.
They are made with an iron body with coiled or binded connection of 1" to 3", and pressures from 0 to 5 kg/cm2.

Use
The "ELE" portable fan has been studied to solve the problem of gas exhaust extraction from vehicles during the motor test operations in closed room without ant extraction systems fixed on the wall or on the ceiling.
The range includes versions and accessories studied for a wide and easy utilisation in workshop for motorcycles, cars, vans and heavy means and it's enough to connect electrically the portable cleaner placing the expulsion piping outward to guarantee an environment without any bad emissions.
The reduced weight and dimensions will help to put the portable fan outside the working places.
Technical features
The system allows the gases extraction by placing near to the exhaust pipe the suitable intake fixed manually at the right height on a pole thanks to a sliding mechanical block device.
The range includes also positioning device and accessories to be utilized on double exhaust pipes or in particular position.
The gas extraction is made by a suitable aspiration group that guarantees the fumes extraction through a hosing heat resistant up to 125° C supplied with the system. The control panel and the thermal protection group drive an electrical motor 230 V - single phase (ELE facile on request) with 6 m anti-flame cable and standard single phase socket.

Sample Gas Pumps
The transportation of sample gas in sample conditioning systems requires very reliable sample pumps. Of course, the sample gas should have an equal and steady flow but very often the corrosive nature of the gas and the presence of condensate form the real task for the pump.
The sample pumps are equipped with a bellow made of solid PTFE which has proven its reliability and long lifetime in numerous applications. If the pump head is pointed downwards the pump is able to pump sample gas with condensate contents.
A special flange design makes the P2.4 and P2.84 pumps suitable for hot applications i.e. the flange is designed of two parts, one -carrying the pump head - can be installed into a heated cabinet and the other part - carrying the electrical motor - is flanged to the outside of the cabinet keeping the motor in ambient conditions.

The Micro Pumps are used frequently in the fields of analysis and medicine.
CONCEPT
The Micro Diaphragm Gas Sampling Pumps from KNF
are based on a simple principal - an elastic diaphragm,
fixed on its edge, moves up and down its central point
by means of an eccentric. In this way the medium is
transferred using automatic valves.
The range of KNF Micro Pumps is for the equipped with the patented stress-optimised structured diaphragm, resulting in a high pneumatic performance, a durable product and compact size. New, very efficient
valves and sealing systems as well as the precise placement of the pump head are some of the other technical features we can offer.
For pump drive we provide a selection of dc motors with
various levels of performance, durability and price.
AREAS OF USE
KNF Micro Diaphragm Pumps are used frequently in the
fields of analysis and medicine.
For instance as pumps for gas measurement, for
example for sampling environmental conditions in the
workplace, or for exhaust gas and smoke analysis or
built into machines for measuring blood pressure.
As they are dc driven, the micro diaphragm pumps are
suited for use in portable and stand-alone equipment

Natural Gas Operated Pumps are CSA (Canadian Standards Association) certified for operation using sweet or sour natural gas. The pumps are also compliant with NACE Standard MRO175/ISO15156. The sweet gas pump utilizes Aluminum or 316 Stainless Steel wetted construction with Buna or Virgin PTFE diaphragms and check balls.
The gas valve is constructed of Aluminum with Buna elastomers. Pumps are fully groundable, preventing static discharge. A Stainless Steel gas valve option is available on G15 to G30 pumps for corrosive applications.

SCHMIDT® Flow-Sensor SS 20.60 HT, for high temperature up to 350 °C
SCHMIDT Technology has developed a high temperature version of the SS 20.60 for the applica-tion in operating temperature up to 350 °C - for short time even 400 °C.
The sensor differs formally in the white ceramic tip. Most of the modifications have been made in-side the sensor and the modules are designed according to the elevated specification.
A complete new designed electronic unit processes the results of measurement and provides a digital and analogue output of flow velocity as well as temperature. The new status indicator dis-plays information about the current flow velocity and the sensors status. Due to the modular con-cept the unit can also be supplied with field bus interfaces. The sensors with field bus interfaces can calculate Kg/h or m³/min. and thus disburdens the supervising PLC. Additionally the sensor gives access to its status information and allows the PLC to inform the user about defects of the sensor.
Applications:
Mass flow-control of combustion processes, burner control, flow measurement of process gases, volume flow measurement of test stands, Measurement of flow velocity in drying plants and steril-izing processes.

Saving energy is an important issue for all types of industry operating with compressed air. The new probes of the SONOAIR series, belonging to our high-precision measurement devices, are equipped with a lot of new details. These probes are able to detect the consumption of compressed air and non-combustible gases as well as leakage losses. There exist three different device series: Inline probes for pipe diameters of 15 – 50 mm, insertion probes for pipes with a diameter between 50 and 1000 mm and combined devices. The latter do not only detect the flow rate but also the temperature and the pressure within the pipe. For on-site interpretations there exist integrated displays or interfaces for using a PC or a Laptop. Alternatively, the measured data can also be stored on a data logger or a memory card.
The systems can be installed easily. They show a high measuring accuracy. The additional software allows external data interpretations as well as detailed process controls.

Air Flow Sensors Based on the Calorimetric Principle for Air or Gaseous Media. Compact, Precise, Rugged and Reliable
vent-captors are compact, self-contained flow sensors that work according to a calorimetric principle. The principle allows for the creation of compact, reliable flow sensors with a price/ performance ratio not possible with other physical flow-sensing principles.
Especially at a low flow rate, no other sensing principle can achieve the high accuracy of a vent-captor.
First engineered by weber Sensors more than 20 years ago, weber continues to pioneer sensors based on this principle.
vent-captors are available as insertion and in-line types. Both are also available with a binary output as switches and adjustable set-point and with an analog output as meters with an adjustable measuring range.

Micromeritics’ low cost Gemini VII 2390 Series surface area analyzers utilize a patented twin-tube design to produce fast, accurate, and repeatable surface area and porosity results. An ideal tool for teaching, research, and quality control environments, the Gemini VII permits low to high surface area measurements without requiring exotic gases such as argon or krypton.
Three model options are available. The Gemini VII 2390a provides standard methods for: single-point and multipoint BET and Langmuir surface areas, total pore volume, micropore analysis by the t-method, and much more. The Gemini VII 2390p provides additional precision with the addition of a saturation pressure tube and is designed to provide a rapid measurement of the adsorption isotherm. The Gemini VII 2390t has all the capability of the 2390p with the additional ability to perform a BJH or Dollimore-Heal pore size distribution using both adsorption and desorption isotherms of up to 1000 points.
All models can be operated stand alone or connected to a computer running Micromeritics’ Gemini VII Windows® software. The Windows version includes easy-to-follow installation videos and system verification tests to ensure optimum performance and reliability. How-to videos provide on-screen instruction on instrument operation.
