Robust 3/2-way valve, directly controlled by spring resetting. Solenoid valves are used where quick switching from suction to ventilation is required. The valve can additioinally be admissioned with compressed air in order to accelerate the ventilation process (max. 1 bar overpressure - on connection 1). When without current, the valves are open (NO). This guarantees that the vacuum circuit is not ventilated in case of a power failure and that engaged goods do not fall off at once.

Technical details of Type 23:
2/2-Way direct acting solenoid valves
Body: GG-25, GS-C25, Stainless Steel
Sealing: NBR, FKM, EPDM
Connection: flange DN15-DN250
Pressure range: 0-1 bar
Valves of this type switch the sealing element directly via the magnetic systems. In this case the seal usually needs to be lifted against the effective operating pressure from the seat simply by the actuator. A closing spring keeps the valve closed, supported by the pressure of the medium. The function depends on the size of the seat, the effective operating pressure and magnetic power.
Direct acting solenoid valves do not have any pilot orifice. So these valves are less sensitive to any slight pollution of the media.
These valves are ideal for vacuum applications. They operate from 0 bar up to the maximum operating pressure.
Direct acting solenoid valves are used, for example, for:
- Vacuum technology
- Venting of gas and tank systems
- Safety control units for burner control systems
- low pressure gas supply for industrial and domestic applications in accordance with DIN EN 161
Extras for direct acting valves are, for example:
- normally open
- increased pressure range
- position indicator
- ex-position indicator
- explosion proof
- temperature design up to +200°C
- high viscosity media
- special flange ANSI

KOFLOC PV 2900, 2910, 2920, 2930, 2940
The KOFLOC Small Proportional Solenoid Valve MODEL 2900 SERIES (U.S. P.A.F.) allows high-precision control of minute amount of fluids. It also has the lowest hysteresis in the industry, within 15% of full-scale current, making it ideal for automatic gas flow control in analyzers such as gas chromatographs, biomedical and other industrial applications. The annealed magnetic materials together with the specially designed flat spring (P.A.F.) completely eliminate flow fluctuations caused by vibrations due to wobbling plunger core or its frictions. The magnetic yoke of MODEL 2900 SERIES is annealed after machining, not bending, for improved magnetic flux permeability, resulting in greater magnetic force.
FEATURES
- Lowest hysteresis in the industry
- Low power consumption
- Special flat spring (P.A.F.)
- Superior resolution
- PWC (Pulse Width Coding) control possible
APPLICATIONS
- Analytical equipment
- Gas chromatography
- Industrial application requiring precision pressure control

Together with the licenser DLR, a valve has been developed, as it has never been offered on the valve market before. The RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve.
According to the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Cologne the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve was developed as a control jet for orbiting satellites. It was a highly reliable valve that delivered the smallest amounts of pressurised gas and thereby controlling the satellites movements.
The valve was further advanced during trials in a high-vacuum chamber, where defined gas pulses were released into the chamber.
Today, the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve is a solenoid ball valve with a special function. The difference between the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve and other ball valves is that a magnetisable ball moves laterally from the seat of the valve using a magnetic field.
The closing process takes place solely due to the stream of the medium. An additional feature and advantage of the RRV® Rapid Reaction Valve is that the response times are realisable wihin milliseconds.
Furthermore, media of high viscosity such as glues, oils and adhesives can be delivered.
Application areas are e.g.: dosing technology, dosing of adhesives, lubrication technology, deformation technology, automobile industry, filling industry, dye and varnish industry, pharmacy, food industry and biotechnology.
Due to the fact that the valve is very small it is pre-eminently suitable for robotics applications.

Solenoid pinch valves use a current passing through a solenoid to induce a magnetic field, which then supplies force to a magnetic plunger. Pinching functionality is achieved by integrating an actuator and a pinching mechanism into a single unit. The pinching mechanism captures the tubing and provides a fixed pinching surface; the actuator generates forces that act on a sliding plunger to pinch the tubing. A spring typically supplies the force in one direction, while the actuator produces an opposing force.
Common applications for solenoid pinch valves are in the medical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory industries.

Solenoid valves from GF Piping Systems play a major role in industrial systems engineering due to their outstanding quality. The comprehensive range with a large number of different versions fully satisfies international standards and customers' requirements.
Their proven advantages and special features make them convincing in operation. Plastic solenoid valves from GF Piping Systems are the ideal products, especially for demanding media. Their good characteristics and short response times make the solenoid valves suitable as components of coordinated control circuits and filling stations.
They are used for diverse functions, e. g. opening, shutting, dosing, dispensing and mixing. The solenoid system and medium area are separated from one another by means of a separating membrane. The valve therefore has a long service life, even with dry runs.
