The Posi-flate control assembly meets NEMA 4, 4X, 7, 9 and 12 requirements. It consists of three major components - the solenoid valve, the central manifold and the seat sensor cartridge.
The solenoid is available in numerous electrical voltages and can be configured so that the butterfly valve is normally open or normally closed. Clean, dry air at 80 to 115 PSIG is supplied to the solenoid air supply port.

Traditionally, standard valves apply the same pressure for extending and retracting double acting cylinders. However, this newENERGYSAVER® valve revolutionizes the way cylinders are controlled,by reducing the cylinder retract pressure. The Series W60 ENERGYSAVER® valve is a 5-port, 2-position, subbase mounted valve that supplies full line pressure to port 4 and reduced pressure (30 psig - 2 bar) to port 2. This provides full cylinder force to move the load, but returns the cylinder with less pressure thus reducing your compressed air consumption by up to 30%. Although reduced, the pressure in port 2 is enough for quick return of the cylinder. The energy saving function is accomplished by action of the spool and works as quickly as a pressure regulator.
ADVANTAGES:
- Reduces compressed air consumption up to 30%.
- Replaces conventional ISO 5599/I valves without any adaptation.
- Spool & sleeve construction for long valve life.
- Leakage in cylinder and fittings reduced due to low applied pressure.
- Noise reduction.
- Extends life of cylinders and other equipment.

No Pressure Differential Design:
For maximum application flexibility these heavy duty solenoid valves have been designed so that no pressure differential is needed for them to operate reliably. Their unique design eliminates problems such as sticking and "chattering" due to system pressure differentials that can affect ordinary solenoid valves. And their performance is not effected by downstream restrictions caused by nozzles, flow meters or other equipment. This is a real benefit in these types of applications. The valve will operate with up to 40 PSI of backpressure and up to 120 PSI of inlet pressure. There are no minimum pressure requirements.
Normally Closed Operation:
When electric power is applied to the solenoid, the electromagnetic coil is energized, opening the valve. When the coil is de-energized, the valve closes.
Innovative Coil Design:
Unique in design, the valve coil rectifies AC current to DC current, resulting in lower coil operating temperatures than other plastic solenoid valves. This permits the coil to be rated for 100% continuous duty applications. Thus, the valve can be left in the open position indefinitely or it can be cycled continuously with no coil damage.
Unique Seal Cartridge:
Hayward Solenoid Valves feature an easy to replace seal cartridge. No fumbling with small parts and o-rings to replace worn seals. Just install the one-piece cartridge containing the plunger assembly and all of the seals.
Corrosion Resistant Coil:
The powerful coil assembly and electronics are completely encapsulated in a molded polyester housing, resistant to the harsh corrosive environments to which solenoid valves are often exposed.

In most refrigeration applications, in order to automatically control the flow of fluids in a system, it is necessary to be able to start or stop the flow in the refrigerant circuit. An electrically operated solenoid valve is usually used for this purpose. Its basic function is the same as a manually operated shutoff valve, but it can be positioned in remote locations, and may be conveniently controlled by simple electrical switches. Solenoid valves can be operated by a thermostatic switch (the most common in refrigeration systems), float switches, low pressure switches, high pressure switches or any other device used for making or breaking an electric circuit.

Deltrol Controls manufactures low-pressure, direct-acting valves specifically designed to control the flow of water and cleaning solution in floor scrubber applications. They provide excellent flow characteristics and sealing ability. They are manufactured with seal and body materials that are proven to withstand the harsh chemicals used in the floor scrubbing process. Deltrol offers a broad standard product line with many valve and configuration options, as well as the ability to customize a valve for unique applications. These are among the many reasons why Deltrol Controls' valves are already used in many floor scrubber machines.

The SC suction solenoid for commercial applications is an alternative low pressure drop shut-off valve in a wide range of both port and connection sizes. With cartridge (port) sizes available from 3/8" through 2-5/8", SC solenoids are capable of handling greater flow rates than other commercially available valves for suction applications in a non-flanged design. In addition, this unique design incorporates the same concept of cartridge interchangeability as found in Parker's popular (S)PORT evaporator pressure regulators.
This innovative design actually utilizes the same capacity cartridges (and valve bodies) as those used with the (S)PORT regulator series, as well as the same solenoid actuator, solenoid coil, and splicebox coil housing. Capacity cartridges can be changed by simply unscrewing the valve's four bonnet bolts in order to remove the adapter and cartridge assemblies. With this flexible line of solenoid now supplementing the existing line of (S)PORT regulators having these same characteristics, a single reliable source for all suction line components is now available.
This ductile iron-bodied solenoid valve with brazed copper couplings is suitable for most common refrigerants, certain oils and other fluids approved for use in refrigeration. This valve may be opened by means of a manual opening stem for servicing or in case of electrical power failure.

The Liquid Controls E-7 Electronic, Two-Stage, Preset Valve is designed for refined fuel applications including gasoline, gasohol, diesel fuel, and fuel oil. The valve is available as part of a complete, new metering system with electronic registration or as a retrofit when upgrading from mechanical to electronic registration. The E-7 valve may be used with M5, M7, and M10
Class 1 meters.
Features of the E-7 Valve include:
- Indexible design for 90° rotational adjustment of valve outlet.
- Interchangeability (same mounting dimensions) with the V-7 and K-7 mechanical valves.
- Two-stage operation for preset deliveries.
- Fast response for quick valve shut-off.
The E-7 Series electronically-actuated piston valve is mounted on the meter outlet and provides a compact installation. The valve is operated by two solenoids. These solenoids control two-stage closure with a dwell period to eliminate hydraulic shock. The valve solenoids are wired to a Liquid Controls LectroCount Electronic Register and are controlled by the register software. During a delivery, the valve opens to allow full flow through the meter. For preset deliveries, the full flow solenoid de-energizes at the point where dwell flow is activated. This reduces the flow rate through the meter. Once the delivery preset volume is reached, the valve fully closes without hydraulic shock to the system.
