Automotion's AutoSort 02 is a pusher sorter, that diverts product from the sortation conveyor onto a take-away conveyor by extending the diverter when the product passes in front of it. It can transfer to a conveyor that is parallel or perpendicular, which makes it a good option when linear space is limited.
- Ideal for shipping and/or receiving operations with a medium rate requirement and where linear space is limited.
- Can accomplish rates up to 40 cartons per minute when used with sortation belt conveyor running up to 250 feet per minute.*
- Handles a wide variety of conveyables up 75 lbs., depending on system sort rate and design.
- Diverts 90° onto a parallel or perpendicular, powered or non-powered takeaway conveyor.
- Air-operated arm can be controlled manually or remotely
- Designed to be used with Automotion's standard belt conveyor or live roller divert conveyor.
- Best results accomplished when paired with an Automotion high speed induction conveyor.

Automotion offers (2) types of Sliding Shoe Sorters: the AutoSort 12 and the redesigned AutoSort 13. Each shoe sorter is specifically designed to perform in the most demanding, high volume sortation environments. Both have an advanced integrated tracking system that allows the sorter to accurately divert product even when running at high speeds.
- Ideal for shipping and/or receiving operations with a high rate, high volume requirement.
- Can accomplish rates up to 250 cartons per minute* at speeds up to 550 ft. per minute
- Intergrated advanced tracking system communicates the timing and amount of shoes needed to accurately divert product onto a take-away conveyor.
- Available in single or dual-sided configurations.
- AutoSort 13 features a shoe design of extruded aluminum and sound insulation and an electric divert switch instead of the standard pneumatic switch to enable the sorter to achieve even higher sortation rates.

Natrix is the latest generation of sliding shoe sorter from TGW, providing high performance sortation of goods with very different dimensions into multiple discharge lanes on both sides of the machine. It is capable of delivering up to 10,200 cartons or totes (400 x 400 mm/16" x 16") per hour each weighing up to 50 kg (110 lbs).
The products are conveyed on a sorter bed consisting of extruded aluminium profiles. Shoes slide across these profiles, diverting products to pre-selected destinations. Different types of discharge lane are available, e.g. driven roller conveyors, non-driven roller conveyors or gravity chutes.
Modular in design for easy assembly and reconfiguration, Natrix is a high performance quiet, low maintenance sortation system.

The sorter consists of a number of carriers fixed to a drive belt. In the carriers unit loads can be put/ dropped and will be following the track (shape as a carrousel) below this track of carriers the destination boxes / chutes etc are been positioned and a certain carrier will be opened above the targeted destination while unloading itself.
Trays are actually holding the items to be sorted and will transfer and drop these at the allocated discharge. There are two styles of trays (split trays and tilt trays) and these come in a variety of sizes and configurations (single, dual, twin and quad).
The main benefits of Split/Tilt Tray Sorters
- Sorting directly into the transport container / box, no need for space consuming chutes.
- Relatively low investment.
- High number of discharges possible on minimal floor space.
- High sorting capacity, standard 7200 (single tray) 14,400 (dual or twin tray) 28,800 (quad tray) per hour, even higher running on high speed.
- Simple and robust principles that demands little and simple maintenance
- Suitable for products that are difficult to handle (their shape is not fixed / round / unpacked / soft- goods / unconveyable).
- Very low sound level below 68 dB

The ESF Flat Sorter comes in two versions: the Split Tray and the Tilt Tray Sorter. Both are proved solutions within its specific field of application for many decades.
Generally speaking, Split Sorters (also know as Bomb-bay sorters) and Tilt Sorters are used for the automatic sorting of relatively lightweight and flat items. Usually, these items are able to withstand a drop of a couple of feet. The items to be sorted are placed in a tray by means of one or more induction systems. Once the carrier is positioned above the destination the trays are opened. The content then drops flat out of the carrier and falls into the destination (box, chute, carton etc).

Positioned just below the highest throughput sortation applications is HK Systems’ family of medium rate sorters. This group comprised of the High Speed Wheel, Steerable Wheel, and the Modular Plastic Belt sorters address customer applications where the case rates are traveling at or below 300 feet per minute. Each of these sorters is specifically designed to handle mid-level production needs while delivering the reliability, durability, and affordability required in today’s distribution environment. Sorter selection among these alternatives is based on product characteristics such as size, weight, and the features of the conveyor contact surface. Each design is modular permitting quicker and easier initial installations and future field modifications. The Modular Plastic Belt sorter allows for zero spacing between divert lanes and can handles products ranging from envelopes to cases.
