Fabreeka® resilient laminated fabric pad is a scientifically designed and manufactured material composed of layers of tightly twisted, closely woven lightweight duck. Each layer is impregnated with an elastomeric compound containing mold and mildew inhibiting agents. The properties of Fabreeka® are exceptionally suited for the reduction of impact shock, vibration and structure-borne noise.
Some features and benefits of Fabreeka® pads:
- Do not have a shape factor
- Exhibit relatively high damping (C/Cc -.14)
- Creep effects are reduced to a limit of 5% of original thickness
- Operating temperature limits are -65°F (-55°C) to 200°F (95°C)
- Unusually high compressive strength - 12,000 psi
- Impervious to most oils and solvents
- Resist effects of steam, water, mildew and brine
- Can be supplied in nominal thicknesses of 1/16" (1.6 mm) up to 1" (25.4 mm)
- Thicker sections can be supplied by bonding standard thicknesses together
- Can be custom fabricated to any shape or size (see OEM section for samples of fabricated parts)
Some practical aspects and considerations when using Fabreeka® pads:
- Provides stability and limited motion
- Should be used with rigid support for best performance
- Connections to isolated system should be made flexible
- Avoid metal-to-metal contact in mount attachments by including Fabreeka® Bushings and Washers

This small rectangular fire damper can be installed in solid walls and ceilings and in lightweight partition walls.
The fire dampers are suitable for installation in walls and ceilings made of concrete or masonry and in lightweight partition walls. The damper installation is independent of the air flow direction.
The thermal release devices with the fusible links are removable from the outside and easy to revise.
All versions are additionally equipped with two more inspection ports.

Analog Optoisolators
PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, a leading manufacturer of analog optical isolators (AOI) for over twenty years, makes a broad range of standard parts under its trademark VACTROL®.
There are many kinds of optical isolators, but the most common is the LED/phototransistor type. Other familiar types use output elements such as light sensitive SCRs, Triacs, FETs and ICs. The major application for these silicon based devices is to provide electrical isolation of digital lines connected between different pieces of equipment. The principle of operation is very simple. When an input current is applied to the LED, the output phototransistor turns on. The only connection between the LED and phototransistor is through light - not electrically, thus the term optical isolator. These optical isolators are primarily digital in nature with fast response times for interfacing with logic gates. Rise and fall times of a few microseconds, faster for some isolators, are typical.

Optical Isolators provide lasers with immunity from back-reflection, thereby improving the signal to noise ratio for laser diode based transmitters. This is especially important for high data rate transceivers and transponders, or those devices requiring long span lengths between transceiver pairs. All of our isolators are based on dichroic polarizing glass and Faraday rotating crystals for highest performance. These devices are available in a single stage, 1.5 stages, or double stages, with multiple stages providing progressively higher isolation.
LightPath offers isolators in various form factors including: Cylindrical, Surface-Mount, and Sub-Mount. In addition, we manufacture isolators with either an epoxy-free optical path or with a laminated core. The primary benefits of our approach to manufacturing include reduced costs as a result of higher yields, throughput and product consistency as a result of automation. LightPath is capable of delivering a total solution to its OEM customers, from prototype and development contracting through high-volume production.
