StellarNet provides both low cost and research grade UV-VIS spectrometers for routine and at line process measurement of sample absorbance, transmittance, and reflectance. The spectrometer wavelength range covers 200-850nm or 190-790nm depending on the model selected. The units incorporate UV enhanced CCD detectors with multi band coatings to minimize second order wavelength detection. 25um slits are permanently installed to set resolution at 0.85nm across their UV VIS operating range. The optics incorporate a 40mm diameter concave grating that produces an aberration corrected, flat field onto the detector. Without mirrors, the grating provides superb image quality and maintains low stray light.

Whiteness and colour measurement in the Pulp & Paper industry in perfect accordance with ISO recommendations
The CM-3630, latest model of the spectrophotometer series equipped with the patented "Konica Minolta Innovative Optical System", ensures perfect compliance to ISO optical standards 2469 and 2470 used in the Pulp and Paper Industry. Together with the designated software PaperControl*, brightness, whiteness and yellowness indices are calculated and displayed in full accordance with several international and national standards such as ISO, SCAN, DIN, TAPPI,CPPA and AFNOR.
Numerical UV-Control (NUVC®) makes calibration and adjustments to whiteness and tint a swift and easy procedure. In fact, in just a few seconds your instrument is perfectly calibrated, much quicker and with fewer chances for user mistakes than with the traditional methods used in conventional instruments. Since everything's done numerically, and with the significant reduction in internal moving parts, it is relatively maintenance free!
Furthermore, the NUVC®, combined with the user calibration option in PaperControl™, allows easy adjustment of instrument parameters to your current measurement system and thus, guarantees perfect correlation with data you've collected over the years.

The CM-512m3 is a multi-angle spectrophotometer especially designed for metallic paints. It uses an exclusive geometry with 0° viewing and illumination at 25°, 45° and 75° angles.
This special geometry is truly symmetric and therefore free of orientation errors often found in traditional multi-angle instruments. In addition, this illumination gives very accurate results even when curved surfaces are measured. Therefore difficult samples such as vehicle mirror bodies or door handles can be measured easily. The CM-512m3 is extremely rugged because it is free of any moving parts.
The temperature data of the sample is measured at each measurement. This data is memorised with each sample reading, so that thermochromatic effects can be analysed. Another practical feature is the infrared data transfer to an external PC, which frees you from troublesome cable connections.

The overall appearance of a product is influenced by color and gloss. A sample of the same color but higher gloss level is visually perceived darker and more saturated than a low gloss sample. In order to get a uniform appearance, both attributes need to be controlled. The
spectro-guide is unique as it measures both attributes simultaneously. Thus, the cause of a mismatch can be clearly defined in any situation.
- Color (45/0 or sphere) and 60° gloss are displayed at the same time
- In compliance with international specifications
- Tolerances for color and gloss allow quick pass/fail decisions in production
The spectro-guide makes quality control simple and secure - even for color beginners. Thanks to the intuitive pulldown menu and the four-cursor button operation, quality control has never been easier.
- Light weight and small size - weighs only 500 g
- Ergonomic design - can easily measure difficult to access areas
- Designated buttons for standard and sample readings
- Customization of the display to your needs
