The SPECTRO 320 is based on an innovative fast scanning technology that combines accurate and fast measurements with high dynamic range. The SPECTRO 320 is in addition a feature-rich system, making it a truly flexible and universally applicable spectrometer. Fully equipped the SPECTRO 320 houses 3 gratings and 3 detectors and covers an enormous spectral range from 190 to 5000 nm. The SPECTRO 320 is available as a single or as a double monochromator (SPECTRO 320D). The fast scanning technology is in particular advantageous in the double monochromator configuration. The diffraction gratings of both monochromator stages are mounted on the same rotating axis, eliminating synchronization errors und guaranteeing short acquisition times in association with high wavelength accuracy.
Features:
- fast scanning technology for high wavelength accuracy and signal dynamic combined with short measurement times
- up to 190 - 5000 nm spectral range in a single scan
- optional cooled photomultiplier as well as cooled silicon and extended InGaAs detectors (up to 2150 nm) are available
- programmable spectral resolution (bandpass) and wavelength steps
- integrated optical density and order sorting filter wheels
- RS-232 and IEEE-488 interfaces
- standard SCPI command protocol for simple remote control and programming
- optional Optical Port with optical output and detector input ports
Applications:
- truly universal spectrometer for a multitude of laboratory applications
- high-end spectroradiometer for the UV-VIS-IR range (e.g. UV-B, solar radiation)
- high resolution spectral analysis, e.g. of laser diodes and spectral emission lines

Konica Minolta offers a wide range of instruments, spectroradiometer as well as tristimulus type models) for the measurement of luminance, chromaticity and correlated color for R&D and inspection purposes of various optical devices such as displays like LCDs, PDPs, organic ELs and FEDs, as well as light sources such as LEDs and lamps.

CS-1000a Spectroradiometers measure spectral power distribution, luminance, color, and correlated color temperature of display devices including, CRTs, flat panel displays, LEDs and light sources, while offering excellent absolute accuracy and short-term repeatability. The CS-1000 can be used as a master instrument in the R&D centers of display devices manufacturers, as well as lighting and lamp companies, to measure the spectral radiance of a light source. Three models are now available including a model with a small measuring angle(0.14°) and another model with a small measuring area (0.45mm).

These instruments are calibrated to measure the spectral irradiance in units of watts m-2 (watts per meter2) over the wavelength range in nanometers (nm) provided by the selected spectrometer model. The factory performs a calibration for the appropriate wavelength range from 300-850nm or 350-1100nm using an NIST traceable calibration source lamp. This irradiance calibration service (IRRAD-CAL) is optional. If the user has an appropriate irradiance calibration source lamp, a field re-calibration can be easily performed using the included SpectraWiz software. The calibrated spectroradiometer can be used to measure LED absolute intensity, xy chromaticity (CIE 1931), purity, and dominant wavelength.
The spectrometer instruments have a slit installed to set optical resolution at 3nm for the concave grating unit and 3.2nm for other plane grating units. The units are calibrated with an F400-VIS fiber optic cable that can be attached to either a cosine corrector or an integrating sphere. The units provide 7 decades of dynamic range.

Since the commencement of high-definition TV broadcasting, there is an accelerating proliferation of high-quality display devices which support full HD for reproduction of sharp, high-resolution images. State-of-the-art technology is now achieving tone reproduction with contrasts of 100,000 : 1, offering an almost-real feeling. This has spurred technical competition for reproduction of "blacker blacks" in particular, resulting in the need for an instrument that can measure extremely low luminance.
In addition, the development of various light-emitting devices, including organic electroluminescent (EL) displays as well as conventional LCD and plasma displays, requires more accurate spectrum analysis. The CS-2000 is a polychromatortype spectroradiometer which achieves 100,000 : 1 contrast measurement with the world's top level capability to detect extremely low luminance levels of 0.003 cd/m2.
