A SLOTTED SPRING PIN is a headless hollow cylindrical tube having a longitudinal slot down the entire length with chamfered or round ends to aid installation. This type of pin is produced to a controlled outside diameter slightly greater than the hole in which it will be installed. Compressed as it is installed, the pin applies continuous pressure towards the sides of the hole wall. The pressure provides tension in a radial manner to prevent loosening created by vibration or shock.

| It is a universal testing machine capable of carrying out tensile, compression, bending, and shearing fesfs. Operation is manual, semiautomatic, and automatic. The test instrument can be modularised taking into account that the structure can house 3 permanently installed load cells for compression tests, and 3 sets of tensile grips for tests, including at break. Our system uses several cards (for axis and cell reader control) that are connected via CanBus to enable displacements to position or force at a feedback speed of 1000 Hz. Load cell reads are effected ì,000 times per second. Minimum indexing is 1/32,700 (this can be increased by slowing down load cell reading). |

The equipment is manually operated.
Fast and slow speed can be selected.
The structure is self-bearing, test space is enclosed between two colums in
order to give greater stiffness to the frame.
Upper crosspiece with holes enables an easy assembly of guiding spring
pin. It is also used as safety device for tests on unstable springs.
The spring tester is supplied with a digital optical line for length
measurements with 0.01 mm division and electronic load cell to test spring
strength.

With its CENTOR Dual force gauge, fixed plate and adjustable plate, this unit can be used to test high-capacity tension and compression springs. The command automatically determines the origin of the displacements and then stops the machine at a predetermined flexion value to measure the height under load. It is also possible to measure flexion, and cycles can be programmed.The instrument has an RS232 to store the results on a computer. Additional sensors are available to provide high levels of precision for springs with low force levels. |

- Retractors -
Conductix-Wampfler retractors are designed in such a way that retraction force increases smoothly as the cable is extended. As a result, the attached tool is returned to its starting position by the retractor after use, leaving the workbench free for other tools or equipment. An assurance of precision work is provided by the progressive increase in spring force.
- Balancers -
Conductix-Wampfler balancers can be identified by their conical cable drum, which ensures that the retraction force remains virtually ‘constant’, throughout the full cable travel. As a result, the position is retained after the attached tool has been used. In addition, no noteworthy increase in retraction force occurs when delicate operations are being performed.
- Cable reels -
Conductix-Wampfler Cable reels are mostly used for the supply to electromechanically driven tools in workshops, commerce and industry. The cables are no longer lying around on the floor, the safety level in the company is enhanced, and the operational life of the cables is also increased.
