This comprehensive range of tank washing devices have been developed for a number reasons. Primarily this is due to the quest for greater efficiency in all kinds of industrial procedures, but it is also the continuous requirement to assure a constant and higher quality level of product. Environmental considerations are also influential; the need to reduce energy use and the increasing costs involved in the disposal of effluents are also factors. Thus resulting in the need for a cleaning process that produces a totally satisfactory result and is completed using the lowest possible volume of cleaning solution; the right tank washing head can also be energy efficient.
Our range from the classic fixed head to the more sophisticated models has been developed to cope with the most demanding applications. The following basic concepts should be given proper consideration in order to determine the correct washing cycle for each single application, and consequently the most suitable type of tank cleaning device.

Tank Cleaning can be defined as manual or automated. Cleaning can be a simple rinse with water, or cleaning with detergents and chemicals. Or cleaning can refer to sanitizing with cleaning agents that reduce microbial contaminants. No matter what, the end result of effective tank cleaning is the application of appropriate and consistent levels of rinsing, cleaning, or sanitizing at specified intervals. The goal is ultimately to prevent contamination that would alter the safety, identity, strength, quality, or purity of the final product. Spraying Systems Co. manufactures more than 80,000 different spray nozzles and accessories. Included in our line is a large selection of tank washers and tank washing nozzles. As a result, we're more likely to have available a nozzle to suit the needs of your tank washing application. And you can also be assured that the nozzle you select will be the most cost-efficient design possible. Visit our Web site @ www.spray.com for all your tank washing needs.

The VARITOP® Tanktop System may be equipped on choice with spray balls or rotating jet cleaners always in connection with the same basic components. The connections ( interfaces ) are identical. In contrast to spray balls, where the cleaning effect is achieved by wetting the tank wall, rotating jet cleaners have the advantage of an additional mechanical cleaning effect by the slowly rotating fan-shaped jet and the associated interval rinsing. Optimal cleaning provides highest plant availability and product quality. Tuchenhagen rotating jet cleaners are availabe with function monitoring as an option. Each cleaner, whether a cleaning lance or a jet cleaner, can be adapted to the customers requests. A fixed cleaning lance or a rotating jet cleaner can maintain an optimal introduction length and an optimised spray ball.

Tornado Nozzles do more …
than simply clean by compressed air blow! Contamination such as dust, swarf or even liquids are loosened by a powerful air-jet. Air turbulence created by the rotating movement traps and effectively removes contamination from the surface. Both rotating arms can be individually adjusted, i.e. the speed of rotations and the jet angle can be adjusted to suit the application. Tornado Nozzles only use compressed air and are absolutely reliable devices. They may also be used in explosion-risk areas.
Cleanroom version
All Tornado Nozzles are available in a cleanroom version. At an operating pressure of 6 bar, they are suitable for cleanrooms with clean-air conditions “class 100” (US Federal Standard 209E).
Tested by the Fraunhofer Institute (Institute for Production Technology) in Stuttgart, Germany.

For superior spray performance at pressures from 300 to 4000 psi (20 to 75 bar) consider WashJet® nozzles. Option includes quick-connect installation options, tungsten carbide inserts and more.

An ONDUFIL ® spring washer is a round elastic item of the same family as our undulated, Belleville or Diaphragm spring washers, derived from a new manufacturing technology which consists of simultaneously rolling and corrugating a flat wire corresponding to the ring's width.
Due to smaller and smaller overall dimensions, compression forces (dips) in the field of larger and larger elastic deformations, and more and more varied stiffeners attainable with this complementary technology, an ONDUFIL® spring washer affords a perfect solution.
Our integrated design and engineering department using powerful computational software is capable today of responding rapidly to your needs.
Our totally integrated production workshop is capable today of making ONDUFIL® spring washers from a prototype for large manufacturing series production runs.

Circular washer which are pre-formed with smooth flowing undulations, thus creating a product with spring properties when compressed.
Emmotts is internationally renowned for its range of waved washers used to pre-load bearings in electric motors. Recent development have enabled the company to address diverse applications in situations where relatively high loads are required from limited deflections, for example seals and valves. Split or slotted waved washers can be produced also and materials range from spring and stainless steel to copper and nickel alloys.

Boker's Wave Spring Washers
Boker's is a metal stamping manufacturer of wave spring washers. Wave spring washers, also called wave washers, generally have several curvilinear lobes. The wave spring washer is an efficient washer for obtaining loads when the load is static or the working range is small and the amount of axial space is limited. Wave spring washers often have three, four, or six waves, however, any number of waves can be produced. By increasing the number of waves, the thickness can be reduced for a given load at the expense of decreasing the amount of deflection and increasing the radial stress. Wave uniformity is important because the load rate doesn’t begin until all waves are evenly loaded.
By sending your product specs Boker's can manufacture your wave spring washers in a variety materials.

· Single Turn Wave Springs
Single turn Wave Springs are perfect for tolerance take up and preloading an assembly. Smalley Single Turn Springs are coiled not stamped, providing for an affordable, precision load, stainless steel option. Wave Springs are stocked from ½” to 16” in both carbon and stainless steel.
· Bearing Preload
Single turn wave springs are ideal for bearing preload. The wave spring preloads the bearing through its outer race, taking up play in the bearing. By preloading a bearing, you will reduce bearing damage and wear.
Smalley’s Bearing Wave Spring Series comes in metric sizes to match popular bearing sizes. Over 150 standard bearing springs are available from stock, 16mm to 580mm. Specials are available for unique bearing sizes with No-Tooling-Charges™.
