Diamond produces a wide range of Single-Pitch Drive and Double-Pitch Conveyor chains manufactured in four combinations of stainless steel depending upon the specific application. AP Stainless Chain: This chain is assembled using 300 Series (austenitic stainless) link plates, bushings and rollers along with a precipitation-hardened stainless steel pin. This combination increases the wear life of this chain over those constructed entirely of 300 Series components. AP Stainless chains are well suited for food processing, and are approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The FlexLink hygienic conveyor was designed to meet the requirements in the dairy, food, and personal products industries with regard to hygiene, safety, speed, and environment. The hygienic conveyor system uses the standard FlexLink plastic chain, traveling in stainless steel beams where the return chain runs in an enclosed bottom profile.

Frame is constructed of continuous TIG welded 304 stainless steel and is designed with no horizontal surfaces for optimum cleaning.
All bearings are 400 stainless steel, filled with H1 FDA lubricant and mounted in cast stainless steel housings for maximum performance in washdown environments.
Solid UHMW wear strips are easily lifted out of the frame without tools to minimize cleaning time.
Belt tracking mechanism is constructed of 304 stainless steel and is externally mounted to the frame with adequate clearances for cleaning. No external threads are used.
