"Pro" series - Stepper motor control as a complete system!
The system:
The "Pro" series stepper motor controller system leads to a fast setup of a complete controller. Thanks to the backplane the wiring effort is minimized. Also the mechanical machining of the rack is reduced to a minimum. The stepper motor power converter (e.g. our HP-Step.pro or compatible converters) are simply pluged into the rack and fixed at the front. The board holder ensure the position of the board. Complete drilled front plates for our power converters are available as an option. The motors are connected with screw clamps on the backside of the backplane. The distribution of the power voltage from the power supply "Netzteil.pro" to the power converters and the distribution of the logic signals is implemented on the backplane.
Just plug in and start!

Drives catch the signal of a driver unit faster than a traditional power stage. Accordingly, they receive no tact or direction signals, but rather "higher quality commands" such as: Absolute position "goes to zero". Such commands can be stored and called up again by a control unit for example. The direct retrieval of commands over a PC or over an interface on the device is also possible.

GSP 92-70: up to 9 APEAK / 70 V
GSP 172-140: up to 17 APEAK / 140 V
Processor controlled step resolution selection
Dynamically optimised switching from 1/8 step to full step

The Motion Coordinator Euro209 is a 3U Eurocard stepper/servo positioner with the built-in ability to control up to 8 servo or stepper motors in any combination. In addition a single Trio Daughter Board may be fitted to allow the control of an additional axis, communications channel or a digital drive interface allowing up to 16 axes. User programs are written in Trio’s established Multi-Tasking BASIC and applications can be developed using the Windows based MotionPerfect environment. Complex motion profiles are easily programmed and these can be linked to a master encoder input for slaving, gearing and cams.
The ethernet port is controlled by a dedicated Coldfire® communications co-processor allowing fast reliable data communication between the Euro 209 and PC and gives the ability to program multiple cards over an Ethernet LAN. The Euro209 has one RS-232 port and one RS-485 built in that may be configured to run the MODBUS protocol for PLC or HMI interfacing. If the built-in CAN channel is not used for connecting I/O modules, it may optionally be used for CAN communications or as a DeviceNet Slave. USB and Profibus daughter boards may be fitted to provide additional communications options. The Euro209 features a total of 16 axes in software. Any axes not having a hardware interface can be used as a “virtual” axis.

EEA001 Enhanced micro-stepping controller of 2 phase stepping motors drives.
The ASIC EEA001 is a complete controller of enhanced, high performance, drives for stepping motors integrating the functions of sequencer and power stages control and protection against overcurrent, over & under-voltage, over-temperature. Mastered by the standard step motor drive's controls (Step, Direction, Enable) it ensures the highest motor's performances through the execution of Micro-stepping movements at high step resolution (up to 1/256) permitted by no odd harmonics sinusoidally shaped winding currents (Maximum step frequency: 2,56 MHz). The ASIC also allows to set a smoothing factor to optimize the drive and motor performances in terms of:
- high speed and torque at shaft - low heating of the drive
- no vibrations - low heating of the motor
- no resonances - very low mechanical noise
Designed to manage two power-stages configured as "H-bridge" working in bipolar chopper mode, the ASIC features a switching frequency of 33 kHz and a circuitry interfacing the drive's power stages designed to offer the widest compatibility with the most popular integrated circuits for MOSFET and IGBT gates driving, being compatible with most of cheap monolithic power circuits too.
ASIC's set up inputs can fit for drive's end user application step angle and phase current, activating the optional automatic current reduction at standstill, of the motor, and several optional drive operating modes such as CLK_UP/CLK_DWN, inputs active edge and Enable input polarity.

TMCM-013-42
Description
1-axis stepper driver 1.1A/30V (step/dir.), motor mountable
The TMCM-013-42 is a step / direction stepper motor driver for integration directly on a 42mm / NEMA-17 motor. The TMCM-013-42-LA supports 42mm / NEMA-17 linear actuators. The parameters like motor current and µStep resolution can be changed easily using the RS-485 interface with an ASCII protocol (e.g. with Hyperterminal). Also the firmware of the module can be updated via the serial interface. All settings are stored in an internal EEPROM, so that no bus-system is required in the application. The module is fully protected and comes with a stand-alone reference search feature, using the integrated reference switch input or StallGuard?.
The module can be used in Step-Direction mode, remote controlled via a RS485 interface, or even as an option in a pseudo DC motor mode.
The possibility to adjust the micro step resolution delivers either very high accuracy or high speed.
