Thanks to the battery operation the workig range is extended independently of any power supply, suitable for the application with light and heavy duty polyester strapping up to 1.35 mm (P325) of thickness with smooth and embossed surfaces. Tensioning, sealing and cutting off the strap are accomplished by pushing the respective, ergonomically arranged press levers. Interlocking of the sealing lever during the sealing and cut-off cycle enables single hand operation and substantial time savings. Easy strap threading - both straps are inserted together. Strap tensioning- and sealing-times are individually adjustable, resulting in perfectly secured packages. A high seal efficiency is also guaranteed. P403 / P404
Both models are handy light weight tensioning and sealing tools to strap flat packages (i.e. pallets, bales, crates and various packages) using plastic-strapping and metal seals. Reliable, robust and service-friendly tool also suitable for non-stationary applications. Thanks to the windless tensioning system very high strap tension can be achieved. Special serrated seals and the patented sealing force balance system guarantee a very high seal joint efficiency. The seal joint is made in no time by operating the sealing handle until it hits the stop. A separate handle, consisting of a grip ball and a bolt are available as option for horizontal applications.

Manual Hand Tools
Manual hand tools are the most basic form of strap application equipment. They are perfect for operations that either do not have access to power sources or do not require the speed of powered hand tools. Signode manual tensioners provide strap operators with a simple method for tightening strapping around a load. A manual sealer is then used to positively join the tensioned strap ends together, ensuring that loads remain secure during transit, handling and storage. To make strap application more convenient and efficient, we also manufacture seal and sealless combination tools which combine the tasks of tensioning, sealing and cutting in a single tool.
Pneumatic and Battery-Operated Hand Tools
Pneumatic and battery-operated hand tools take most of the effort out of tensioning and sealing by performing those operations at the push of a button or lever. Powered hand tools are typically used to reduce operator fatigue, improve strapping efficiency and provide uniform tensioning. Signode pneumatic combination tools utilise air or battery power to tension, seal and cut off plastic strapping. These tools are available in seal-feed and sealless Tension-Weld® models.

compact and easy to use battery strapping tool for PP and PET straps of 10 to 16 mm strap widths. Utilizing a powerful motor is capable of applying tensions up to 2300 N. The Nickel-Cadmium and Nickel-Metalldydride batteries of the DIGIT SMART LT are made by Makita and enable flexible use of the tool. With the fast charger the battery can be charged within 14 (Ni-Cd) and 23 (Ni-MH) minutes respectively. The ergonomic handle and the balanced weigth distribution enable a "one-hand" use of the tool. The tension and sealing time are adjusted via a simple digital panel.
