The MAXp is a PCI bus-based motion controller with up to 8 axes of user-definable servo & stepper motion control. The MAXp is built on a PowerPC 32-bit RISC processor running at 266 MHz. The use of this processor delivers exceptional servo control, capabilities, quality, and application performance on multi-axis requirements. All signals, data points, and the PID loop update every 122s on all 8 axes. Each axis of the MAXp controller can be configured as a servo, open loop stepper, or a closed loop stepper.

The MC.60xx series offer 8 different versions of arbitrary waveform generators for the CompactPCI bus. With these boards it is possible to generate free definable waveforms on several channels synchronously. There are up to four channels on one board with a maximum sampling rate of 125 MS/s. The internal standard Sync-bus allows the setup of synchronous multi channel systems with higher channel numbers. It is also possible to combine the arbitrary waveform generator with other boards of the MC product family like analogue or digital acquisition boards. With the up to 256 MSample large on-board memory long waveforms could be generated even with high sampling rates. The memory could also be used as a FIFO buffer to make continuously data transfer from PC memory or hard disk.

The MC.30xx series offer a wide range of very fast 12 bit A/D converter boards for CompactPCI 6U bus. Due to the well-planned design these boards are available in several versions and different speed grades. That makes it possible for the user to find a individual solution.
These boards offer one to four channels with a maximum sam-plerate of 200 MS/s. As an option 4 digital inputs per channel could be recorded synchronously. The installed memory of up to 256 MSample will be used for fast data recording. It can completely be used by the currently active channels. If using slower samplerates the memory is switched to a FIFO buffer and data will be transferred online to the PC memory or to hard disk.
Several boards of the MC.xxxx series may be connected together by the internal standard synchronisation bus to work with the same time base.
