The fire alarm devices of type 2014/2 are designed for manual triggering of alarms in hazardous areas. The II 2 G EEx emd IIC T6 type of protection allows the alarm to be operated in all Ex areas of the zones 1 and 2. The enclosure and the increasedsafety class of protection of the terminal room guarantee hazardous area protection. For reasons of explosion protection the switch contact and the modules are gas tight embedded. The housing is completely made of GRP. This ensures the high level of corrosion protection as well as Class II and III. No equipotential bonding necessary. Further design characteristics are profound ruggedness and minimum 8 mm thick walls.

The L6 series of pushbuttons and pilot devices comprise a "full line" solution to 16mm panel cutouts. Available with termination as .110" solder-tab / quick-connect or with PCB terminals. Locking lever removable contacts facilitate wiring harnesses or PCB applications to reduce wiring time.
Oversize button heads are now available for 16mm round, square, mushroom, selector and key switches. These larger buttons are ideal for gloved personnel and provide an alternative to 22mm pushbuttons if 10A contacts are not needed.
